Ok guys/gals: I am really excited about this video. Ever since I built my Mega Gaming Computer build with the EVGA Classified SR-2 Motherboard with 4-Way GTX480s, I haven't necessarily been happy with my computer case. While the Mountain Mods U2-UFO case is nice and built well, it is just too big and not my style. I kept looking on the internet to find a case that would fit my hardware including dual PSUs and I couldn't find one. The closest case that I could find was the Lian Li P80 case, but it isn't necesarily my style either. What would be great would be to modify Corsair's awesome Obsidian 700D / 800D cases, right? WELL, HERE IT IS!!!! My buddy exclusily did the work on this and did a fantastic job. He spent many hours measuring and cutting to make sure everything was perfect. Well, he succeeded gloriously! A few years ago I realized that I hated new machetes and much preferred my old worn out ones. I sat down and took a good hard look at my blades to figure out why and discovered that I had been transforming the blades to have a high, flat, sharp edge at the base and a robust convex forward of that. I also had squared off the spine of the machete to make tinder shavings and rounded off the forward portion of the spine because it was tearing up my hand. Ever since I started modifying my machetes to that configuration from the start I never looked back. This is the process I put my new machetes through, feel free to use it if you think it would work for you. Just remember where you got it. A little over a year ago I posted my first machete modification video. Since then I have had numerous requests as to how I put the modifications on the blades and how I sharpen a machete. The first part of this two part video shows how to take a new Tramontina 16 inch machete and do the basic file work necessary to put a scandi edge at the base of the blade, convex the forward portion, and create both square and round sections on the spine. The second video shows how I correct the grinds and sharpen using a Smith's Tri-Hone. I have found this simple sharpening system to be very useful. The final result is a machete that is sharp along its entire length and gives me a variety of edges to work with in the bush. It is also an edge that I can maintain simply in the bush with a small diamond rod.

Grid Modification for the Korg Kaossilator or Korg Mini KP. THERE ARE NO TUNES PLAYED IN THIS VIDEO. (I'm not a performer!) THIS VIDEO IS ABOUT MY MODIFICATION. The mod helps you to remember where notes or beats etc are on the Kaossilator touch-pad, as there are no points of reference on it, its just a blank square. Maybe its just me, but I find that this mod helps a lot. Its basically just a piece of transparecy film which I have printed a grid onto. It took me a while to work out the grid pattern (and I want to develop it further), but I have used 45 squares on the grid because there are 45 different symbols that show on Kaossilator's display depending on what part of the touch pad you touch, but... THERE ARE MANY MORE NOTES AVAILABLE THAN 45! and this varies depending on what scale you have selected, but this grid helps you to select notes repeatedly, and remember where they are, whether in the middle of a square, in a corner, or wherever. I am still developing the idea, but I am quite happy with the version that I am using at the moment.
