One of the largest counter-terrorism trials in the UK has ended with men convicted of involvement in training camps around the country. Turkish Cypriot Atilla Ahmet, 43, of Bromley, Kent, pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey in September 2007 to three counts of soliciting to murder in connection with Hamid's camps and home talks. Two extremist preachers and five other men were jailed in March 2008 over a network of military-style terrorism training camps held in picturesque locations across the English countryside. Mohammed Hamid, who dubbed himself "Osama bin London," was jailed for at least seven and a half years. His accomplice, Atilla Ahmet, who claimed to be the top al-Qaida organizer in Europe, was jailed for six years and 11 months. The pair trained hundreds of recruits, including a gang of east African men who made a failed attempt to bomb London's transit network on July 21, 2005 _ two weeks after the July 7 subway and bus strikes killed 52 commuters. Prosecutors in a trial that concluded last month said Hamid hoped his recruits could carry out six or seven major attacks in Britain before London hosted the 2012 Olympics. Judge Christopher Pitchers said he believed Hamid's men were most likely being trained to fight overseas _ particularly in Afghanistan. "The purpose was to go abroad to commit offenses but was no less serious for that," Pitchers said at Woolwich Crown Court, in London. "Somebody killed by a terrorist act is as serious if it is committed abroad as here." Five other men were jailed last month on charges related to the network of camps. During the trial, prosecutors described how men clad in mud-smeared combat fatigues rushed across British farmland, wielding sticks as mock rifles and chopping watermelons in simulated beheadings.

For eight centuries, the conquest of Constantinople, now Istanbul, Turkey, was a dream for the Muslim commanders. Ever since the era of the revered companion, Mu`aawiyah Ibn Abu Sufyaan (RA), there had been many attempts to conquer it, but none had succeeded. Every Muslim commander wanted to be the conqueror praised in the narration in which the Prophet (SAW) said: "You will conquer Constantinople. Its commander is the best and its army (that will conquer it) is the best." Who was then the person about whom the Prophet (SAW) gave glad tidings? It was Muhammad Al-Fateh son of the Ottoman Sultan Murad II. Muhammad Al-Fateh was born on 27th Rajab, 835 AH, 30th March, 1432 CE. He was brought up under the supervision of his father, Sultan Murad II, the seventh Ottoman Sultan. His father prepared and trained him to shoulder the responsibilities of the position of a Sultan. Muhammad Al-Fateh memorized all the Quran, learnt the Prophetic narrations, Islamic jurisprudence, mathematics, astronomy and the skills required for war. Shaykh Aaq Shamsuddin, one of the scholars who supervised the upbringing and education of Muhammad Al-Fateh, managed to inculcate in his heart the spirit of Jihad and the desire to be a person with high ambition. "The Guardian is reporting that the man who was supposedly a key Taliban leader and was involved in peace talks with NATO and the Afghan government turned out to be an impostor. A man claiming to be Mullah Akhtar Mohammad Mansour, the second highest ranking member of the Taliban council in Pakistan, was reportedly paid a large sum of money in exchange for continued negotiations. However, the scheme was unraveled when an Afghan official, who had previously met the Taliban chief, said he did not recognize the man posing as Mansour. The revelation is a step backward for Afghan president, Hamid Karzai, who had put his hopes on a peace deal with insurgents. Karzai, however, is denying the reports as propaganda, saying he never met with a Taliban leader. Still, this report highlights the potential problems with an attempt to negotiate with the Taliban, who maintain they will not negotiate until foreign troops leave Afghanistan."

** Blessing through Prophet's(صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ablution ** Hadith #12 Narrated Ibn Shihab: Mahmud bin Ar-Rabi' who was the person on whose face the Prophet had ejected a mouthful of water from his family's well while he was a boy, and 'Urwa (on the authority of Al-Miswar and others) who testified each other, said, "Whenever the Prophet , performed ablution, his companions were nearly fighting for the remains of the water." Reference ►Volume 1, Book 4, Number 188: Sahih Bukhari Hadith #13 Narrated As-Sa'ib bin Yazid: My aunt took me to the Prophet and said, "O Allah's Apostle! This son of my sister has got a disease in his legs." So he passed his hands on my head and prayed for Allah's blessings for me; then he performed ablution and I drank from the remaining water. I stood behind him and saw the seal of Prophethood between his shoulders, and it was like the "Zir-al-Hijla" (means the button of a small tent, but some said 'egg of a partridge.' etc.) Reference ►Volume 1, Book 4, Number 189: Sahih Bukhari Hadith #14 Narrated Abu Juhaifa: Allah's Apostle came out at midday and offered a two-Rak'at Zuhr and 'Asr prayers at Al-Batha and an 'Anza was planted in front of him (as a Sutra).
