Droid Bionic Review Everyone knows that the Droid Bionic was long overdue by the time it landed in September, though the $300 contract price sent some people running to the hills regardless. Meanwhile, others found this Moto handset's dual-core 1 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 4.3-inch qHD display and 4G/LTE support impossible to resist. So is this top-of-the-line Android phone worth the hype? Well, long story short, it has tremendous call quality and signal (at least where I am), great battery life and snappy performance. We go hands-on with the Motorola Bionic Android phone for Verizon. It supports the Verizon 4G LTE network and features a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. It also has HDMI-output at a full 1080p HD resolution and mirror mode so you can play games and browse the web on a big screen TV or monitor. The 8MP camera handles photos, while the large 4.3-inch qHD display makes quick work of high-resolution video.

Another day, another Trident Aegis review... this time for the Motorola DROID Bionic. Due to the fact that the Bionic has a good line up of brand names cases already out, the Aegis has an uphill battle in terms of impressing those savvy with accessories for smartphones. To those unfamiliar with the Aegis case - there's little to dislike about it. It's a durable 2 layer case, it comes in 5 really nice colors, it has a screen protector, and it's reasonably priced. That being said, we think it comes down to a simple matter of aesthetics and personal choice. If you like the way the Aegis looks - just buy it.

We end the marathon of accessory reviews for the Motorola DROID Bionic with the big daddy of them all - the Otterbox Defender. The Defender has everything you want in a durable case - including a screen protector that's already built in, a skeleton that's made of polycarbonate, and a thick outer silicone skin layer with dust covers and button covers for the phone. The Defender rounds things out with a very durable metal hinge belt clip holster that doubles as a kickstand - and there's little else to not like about Defender outside of it's overall size.

Our first look at a retail brand for the Motorola DROID Bionic, the Seidio Surface case is a simple 2-piece slide on design that is actually pretty thick. An elegant rubberized finish all around the case gives it a muted professional look, while the interior has a lining of microfiber to keep things scratch free and slightly cushioned. Note the Surface can be used with a belt clip holster and purchased separately or in a combo kit as shown in the video. All in all, not a bad light duty case at all for the DROID Bionic.

It's been a while since we looked at a leather case for any smartphone, so we decided to get back into the fray with the Monaco Executive Leather Case for the Motorola DROID Bionic. Made of GENUINE leather, the Monaco Book Case is a play through design which allows you to fully use your DROID Bionic while it's inside. It also includes Monaco's universal belt clip which can be interchanged with other Monaco cases (primarily leather ones) past and future, so it's worth holding onto them as spares should you need them. Incipio's Silicrylic for the Motorola DROID Bionic is a 2 layer silicone / polycarbonate shell case with screen protector. It's the standard issue offering from Incipio and is a nice choice for anyone who want's a fairly protective cover that's stylish at the same time. We weren't too excited about the Silicrylic as we were with the Feather cover from Incipio, but that's not to dismiss the case as being bad in any way. The best way to summarize the Silicrylic is that it has a lot of competition at the moment.

If you ask anyone serious about cell phone accessories today what's a recommended brand, the name "Otterbox" gets thrown out a lot for good reason. The Otterbox Commuter case for the Droid Bionic is what we would consider the best jack-of-all-trades case right now for the phone. An excellent balance between weight, profile and protection for the phone, it's hard to criticize the Commuter outside of it's utilitarian looks. For those who need a little more stopping power, the Defender case (also from Otterbox) is worth a look, but we think the Commuter should work well for anyone.

Not the biggest, baddest, or even attractive accessory out there for the Bionic, the Flex is a simple 2 piece snap on cover that provides basic protection and utility via belt clip. What makes the Flex unique is its universal "clipstand" attachment that allows you to double the belt clip as a kickstand while retaining it to use with other Flex cases past and future. Overall not a bad product, and it's worth is literally dependent on what you can get it for. Note this is not compatible with any extended batteries.
