Motorola DROID Bionic Review Part 1

For more news on the Bionic, check out pdog.ws After nine months of leaks and blurry pictures, the Motorola DROID Bionic is finally here. Featuring a completely new design, the flagship 4G LTE smartphone offers a 1 GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording capabilities, a front-facing shooter, large 1735 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 with Motorola's custom UI. It bridges the gap between Verizon's high-end, dual-core 3G lineup and their 4G (but underpowered) group. It's available now for $299.99 with a two-year contract. Even though it's way late, the DROID Bionic is still an impressively spec'd device, but the market is moving much faster than it was in January. Is it worth dropping the cash for now, or should you wait on other high-end Verizon Android phones like the Nexus Prime? We'll debate it. Part 1 of 2. Motorola DROID Bionic Trident Aegis Case @DayDeal_com Review

Another day, another Trident Aegis review... this time for the Motorola DROID Bionic. Due to the fact that the Bionic has a good line up of brand names cases already out, the Aegis has an uphill battle in terms of impressing those savvy with accessories for smartphones. To those unfamiliar with the Aegis case - there's little to dislike about it. It's a durable 2 layer case, it comes in 5 really nice colors, it has a screen protector, and it's reasonably priced. That being said, we think it comes down to a simple matter of aesthetics and personal choice. If you like the way the Aegis looks - just buy it.

Motorola DROID Bionic Monaco Executive Case @DayDeal_com Review

It's been a while since we looked at a leather case for any smartphone, so we decided to get back into the fray with the Monaco Executive Leather Case for the Motorola DROID Bionic. Made of GENUINE leather, the Monaco Book Case is a play through design which allows you to fully use your DROID Bionic while it's inside. It also includes Monaco's universal belt clip which can be interchanged with other Monaco cases (primarily leather ones) past and future, so it's worth holding onto them as spares should you need them. Generally speaking, Leather Case users look for style more than function, and although the Monaco case does protect the phone in most situations when it may drop - we know owners will probably trash the case if the finish on it wears down or is damaged anyway.

PhoneArena reviews the Motorola DROID BIONIC. The Motorola DROID BIONIC is the first device on Verizon to marry a dual-core processor with 4G LTE connectivity. A 1GHz dual-core chip along with 1GB of DDR2 RAM will power Android 2.3 Gingerbread on the Bionic. The Droid experience is spiced up with apps like ZumoCast which allows you to stream files wirelessly from a computer to the phone. The DROID BIONIC features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a front-facing shooter. But what truly makes the Bionic stand out is its accessories pack - the handset supports Motorola's WebTop dock and can connect to the LapDock chassis, transforming into a laptop replacement ... It's the standard issue offering from Incipio and is a nice choice for anyone who want's a fairly protective cover that's stylish at the same time. We weren't too excited about the Silicrylic as we were with the Feather cover from Incipio, but that's not to dismiss the case as being bad in any way. If you ask anyone serious about cell phone accessories today what's a recommended brand, the name "Otterbox" gets thrown out a lot for good reason. The Otterbox Commuter case for the Droid Bionic is what we would consider the best jack-of-all-trades case right now for the phone. An excellent balance between weight, profile and protection for the phone, it's hard to criticize the Commuter outside of it's utilitarian looks. For those who need a little more stopping power, the Defender case (also from Otterbox) is worth a look, but we think the Commuter should work well for anyone.

Not the biggest, baddest, or even attractive accessory out there for the Bionic, the Flex is a simple 2 piece snap on cover that provides basic protection and utility via belt clip. What makes the Flex unique is its universal "clipstand" attachment that allows you to double the belt clip as a kickstand while retaining it to use with other Flex cases past and future. Overall not a bad product, and it's worth is literally dependent on what you can get it for. Note this is not compatible with any extended batteries.

Motorola DROID Bionic Qmadix Snap-On Case & Holster @DayDeal_com Review

One of the first popular accessories for the Motorola DROID Bionic were belt clip holsters, and the Qmadix Snap-On Cover with Holster is an exceptionally well built one. This combo kit consists of a high quality back cover and belt clip holster, which BOTH double as kickstands due to their design. High quality plastic & polycarbonate mix make the case durable yet not adding too much bulk or weight. A real winner is the fact that the belt clip holster is face-in with the back cover on yet face-out with the naked phone, adding flexibility options for the user. Those who are looking to buy the OEM Verizon holster should take a long look at the Qmadix offering first before deciding - as we feel they will be glad they did.
