Spielberg speaks about movie intentions... "- Do you want to know mama ? Do you want me to tell you what I did ? - No ." ====================================== From zygmuntb : We tend to talk a lot if someone does something bad, disregarding the cause of it, and put on them sticker of terrorist . David Cameron's Munich speech on multiculturalism - Part 1

In a speech to the Munich Security Conference, the Prime Minister signaled a marked change in policy towards Britain's ethnic and religious minorities, saying the "hands-off tolerance" of those who reject Western values has failed. He urged a "more active, muscular liberalism" where equal rights, the rule of law, freedom of speech and democracy are actively promoted to create a stronger national identity. "If we are to defeat this threat, I believe it's time to turn the page on the failed policies of the past," he told the conference during a panel discussion attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel. His speech echoed controversial remarks made by Merkel last year, when she also called multiculturalism a failure, saying Germany had not devoted enough attention to the integration of immigrants.

Munich

Beer, sausages, oompah music, high-tech, more beer, and lots of culture. Where else in the world could you be but Munich? This is probably Germanys most interesting city, with its mix of old and new, north and south, efficiency and soul, museums and shops, fine dining and casual cafes. Did we mention beer? The natives drink an average of 300 quarts of beer per capita, which is twice as much suds as the rest of Germany, and makes them brew-champions of the world, as you will see in the numerous outdoor beer gardens filled at all hours with enthusiastic imbibers; but if you prefer wine or -- gulp -- soft drinks, there are many excellent local choices to pick from. Munich is a spectacular town to visit, with a great history that goes back nine hundred years. This unique city occupies a special cultural niche in the middle of Europe, mid-way in spirit between Germany and Italy, with elements of both nations joining together in a unique mix of order and passion. This capital of Bavaria offers the best of both worlds -- the efficiency of Germany with the easy-going lifestyle of southern Europe, served up in a medium-sized city that knows how to have a good time. Italy is just two hours south, and its influence can be seen everywhere in Munich, from the numerous pasta trattoria to the miles of monumental buildings that are faithful copies of Florence landmarks.

Munich 1972 Olympics Massacre

archives.cbc.ca Confusion, disbelief, sorrow. The raw emotions are captured in this CBC Television news special about the massacre of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Games. What is clear is that members of the Palestinian group Black September slipped into the Olympic Village and took the athletes and coaches hostage. What remains murky is exactly how, at a military airport 21 hours later, a botched rescue mission ended with every hostage dead. The CBC reacts as a sports event becomes a huge international news story. Cameras capture gunfights and armoured personal carriers roaring through the night. Bob Moir, a CBC Sports commentator, records the impressions of Canadians who had a front seat for the unfolding nightmare. One describes watching the Israeli hostages being led away. "I just had a terrible feeling of foreboding that this was the last we'd see of them â€" and I'm afraid that was correct."

Real Madrid all stars Vs Bayern Munich all stars 8-3 All goals [05.06.11]

A Real Madrid team comprised of past players and legends have defeated their Bayern Munich counterparts 8-3 in a charity match. Played at the Santiago Bernabeu in front of over 70000 spectators on Sunday evening, the Corazon Classic Match was intended to raise funds to develop schools in Africa through the Real Madrid foundation and was spectacular to watch as there were 11 goals. Former Madrid and Bayern players and footballing legends such as Luis Figo, Zinedine Zidane, Fernando Redondo, Emilio Butragueno, Willy Sagnol and Roy Makaay all featured in the game. Ruben de la Red, who was forced to quit playing professionally last year at the age of just 25 because of a heart condition, opened the scoring after just 11 minutes, and five minutes later Butragueno made it 2-0 to Madrid. Redondo made it 3-0 on 40 minutes, but Paulo Sergio reduced the deficit for Bayern just a minute before the half-time interval. After the break, Alfonso Perez made it 4-1 to Madrid only for Niko Kovac to score for the German giants. An own goal from Robert Kovac saw the Spanish powerhouse go 5-2 up and although Sergio made it 5-3 just moments later, Niko Kovac netted an own goal to help Madrid increase their lead to 6-3. Late goals from Fernando Sanz and Davor Suker saw Madrid round up a comprehensive 8-3 victory in front of their own supporters. قداما ريال مدريد طد قدامة بايرن ميونخ
