Most Muslims face difficulties with racism, discrimination, and intolerance. My motivation for making these videos is to give Muslims a voice and to show the world that Muslims are normal people just like everybody else. Muslims are human beings who have hopes and dreams, they have thoughts, ideas and emotions. Muslims come from diverse backgrounds, and therefore it is very foolish to think that they are all the same. I sincerely hope that we can build a future based on mutual respect and understanding. This is part of the reason that I have an interest in learning Arabic. Language is the key to people's hearts. Learning somebody else's language sends the message that you care about them. Love is the solution and hatred is the problem. Islam is the most misunderstood religion. For example, some people may think that Islam promotes extremism. In fact, the opposite is true. In the Quran, Allah forbids the taking of life: "...take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law..." (Surah 6 Ayah 151) On numerous occasions, the Prophet Mohammed forbid the harming of innocent people. Here is just one example, which has been recorded in a historical record: "...Allah's Apostle forbade the killing of women and children." (Bukhari Volume 4 Book 52 Number 258)
