Carmina Burana, Latin for "Songs from Benediktbeuern", is the name given to a manuscript of 254 poems and dramatic texts from the 11th or 12th century, although some are from the 13th century. The pieces were written almost entirely in Medieval Latin; a few in Middle High German, and some with traces of Old French or Provençal. Many are macaronic, a mixture of Latin and German or French vernacular. They were written by students and clergy when the Latin idiom was the lingua franca across Italy and western Europe for travelling scholars, universities and theologians. Most of the poems and songs appear to be the work of Goliards, clergy (mostly students) who sent up and satirized the Church. The collection preserves the works of a number of poets, including Peter of Blois, Walter of Châtillon and the anonymous one, referred to as the Archpoet. The collection was found in 1803 in the Bavarian monastery of Benediktbeuern and is now housed in the Bayerische Staatsbibliothek in Munich. Along with the Carmina Cantabrigiensia, the Carmina Burana is the most important collection of Goliard and vagabond songs. The manuscripts reflect an 'international' European movement, with songs originating from the following countries, Occitanie, France, England, Scotland, Switzerland, Aragon, Castille, Germany.

This is our first kill of the Lich King on 10 player mode. It was a few weeks overdue, but done none the less. As far as attempts go this was not a very good one; We had several minor server side lag issues that lead to some pretty nasty Defiles during phase 2, not to mention the fun fun death time you'll see during this phase 3 clip. The server lag during phases 1 and 2 made the first portion of the video unviewable, so this picks up right at the start of phase 3. This is not the UI I normally use, it is just something I threw together fast after I got the new pc. Future vids will see a much more efficient UI. Enjoy!

Sorry it's a little dizzying... but that's pretty much what it felt like on those roads; bumpy, swervey and fast! (one of youtube's suggested tags for this is "extreme driving" - hee hee!)
Our first kill of heroic Saurfang for your enjoyment. This fight is actaully incredibly boring to watch, just a whole lot of stanging around swinging weapons and shooting things. Sounds like a redneck family reunion a bit, no? Our strategy was simply to pre-assigned ranged dps to each of the 5 adds based on a number system of where the adds spawned in relation to the boss, numbered 1-5. The dps spread out along the platform in a fan dependent on which add they where assigned so the adds would walk directly away from the boss. We had a warlock on stuns for the adds. In order to allow for more room for our ranged, we had the healers standing on top of the melee dps, which negated nearly 100% of the blood nova cross damage on the kill attempt, although if I remember we had one incident involving lag, a moose three midgets and a small child. Our first kill of Lord Marrowgar in 25 man heroic Icecrown Citadel. Video quality is a little off from my norm, my video recording software had reset itself to a lower quality at some point befor eI recorded this. Our strategy to this fight was very simple; Stack on the boss during the normal phase, spread out along the southern wall during the bonestorm, rinse repeat and win. This took I believe only a handful of attempts for us to do, which is why you see two dead guys in the raid. To be more specific about our bonetome setup, we had each of our healers assigned to a specific location of the room, and close enough to atleast two other healers at any given time to allow for cross healing and to keep anyone from dieing (unless all three bonespike hit all three healers on the same side of the room... /sigh).
