The Nintendo Entertainment System was sold in many different versions over many years, the Action Set was a later incarnation of the NES lineup and came packed with a Nintendo toaster system, NES Zapper, two controllers, Nintendo Power magazine advertisement, Nintendo poster and all accessories needed to hook an NES up to a television. The previous CGRHD NES toaster broke, and after replacing the 72 pin connector was still not working properly. We had to finally replace our trusty Nintendo. After searching the Earth for a new NES it was decided that Classic Game Room wanted an original toaster model of the NES because it has a superior video output and that old school Nintendo style. I have obtained exclusive footage from an unreleased NES game prototype! I've managed to capture five minutes of never-before-seen gameplay video! You play as an Italian deli owner armed only with a steady supply of hoagies. You must make your way through a perilous world of danger to destroy the forces of evil. This game may have been kept off of store shelves due to its controversial title, "Hitler's Revenge". However, unlike "Bionic Commando", Hitler isn't actually IN this game. It may just be a simple translation error which was common in the mid-80s. I believe the most likely reason for the game's demise is its intense difficulty that makes "Ghosts 'n Goblins" look like a walk in the park. I've heard that this game is so hard, the programmers didn't even bother adding a second level. A cheat code had to be used to warp to advanced locations. There's also a rumor that a play tester went insane and died as a result of playing the game for an extended period of time. Fearing similar occurrences with home players, the game was scrapped. OK, fellas. Just as I promised, here's another video to show off a bit more of the game, but before you get to all the watching, let me clear up a few common misconceptions real quick. 1. I saw all the comments regarding the game's difficulty being low, and I assured you all that the original video was just the first part of the first stage. In this new video, you'll catch a glimpse of the "Death Toll" mission on 2 player, showing off a tougher couple of levels. Still though, this is also pretty early in game, so the difficulty still goes up from here. 2. All but one of the special infected are seen in this new video. The Tank doesn't appear until later in the campaign, so obviously, you won't see him here. You WILL, however, see the Witch crying in her corner, the Hunter pouncing on the survivors, and the players being stuck on the spot by the Smoker's tongue. The Boomer is also here, but you'll recognize him from the first video anyways. 3. I want to point out that I am NOT the one playing in this video. The first player is my buddy "DAC," who is playing Louis, and the second player is my buddy "Jesse" who is playing Francis. They had quite a fun time playing Death Toll for the first time together and will continue to help me make this product the very best it can be. 4. This one is important: I want to make it very clear that the design aspect of this de-make was to create the game "Left 4 Dead" in a way that I feel it would have been handled back in 1986. *Edit* - Many seem to be unaware of how to perform the High Knee or "Knee Lift" attack. It must be performed from a crouching position (after landing from a jump or getting up from being knocked down), during crouching you must press A + B while holding Left or Right (direction you want to knee). The timing window is somewhere in the middle when you land from a jump to when you rise from the crouch making it probably the most difficult move to consistently perform in the game. When you attempt to get up from being knocked down, you can do a knee as you arise, in these situations it's probably best to repeatedly hit A + B simultaneously while pressing the direction. Now to perform the "Hyper Uppercut", you have to also use from a crouching position or while getting back up. When facing to the left, jump and immediately when you land Press B. When facing to the right, press A immediately when you land from a jump. I usually rapidly tap the button just as you're about to land/arise.
