Samara Nicoya Peninsula Costa Rica
TravelCostaRicaNOW.com Hey everyone! We spent a few days down in Samara which is located on the Nicoya Penisula. Samara is one BIG BEACH and definitely the VERY definition of a beach town. Taking in the sun and water adventures during the day and partying at night. Great restaurants, intimate little bars on the beach where you can share a cocktail and the sunset with that special someone, but also club-like party bars to drink and party until the wee-hours. Playa Samara is a long-wide beach on a curved horseshoe-shape bay. Unlike many other beaches along the Pacific coast, the water is calm and great for swimming and other water adventures like snorkeling and fishing and it's even a great place to 'beginner surf'. Playa Samara is popular with the Ticos and can often get quite lively on the weekends and special holidays, but since the beach is so BIG, it all seems to work. The calm waters and steep cliffs on the far side of the bay make this a very seductive spot, and don't forget Playa Carrillo, 5 kms away, also a great little beach.

This is my second video attempt at soloing the Royal Jelly. This is the third and final video, the Royal Jelly boss stage. I basically make no headway whatsoever against the RJ. If you have suggestions for how I might do this fight better I'd love to hear about it. Please don't suggest "get X piece of 5* gear" or "use a faust instead". If the only way to solo RJ is to use 5* gear or a sword you can only get after beating him multiple times, then the boss fight is broken. He's a T2 boss, he should be beatable with 2-3* gear. I made this video as a sort of response to CaptainSparklez's video demonstrating a hatch drawbridge in minecraft, seen here www.youtube.com This is my first youtube video, so be gentle. The framerate is a little choppy, but I think that's because CamStudio kinda sucks. If anyone has some tips on smoothing that out feel free to drop a note in the comments. While this video is kind of a diss on CaptainSparklez, I assure you it's all in jest. He seems like a pretty cool guy and I honestly have nothing against him. Crossing Golfo Nicoya, Puntarenas Ferry, Day 20
We're taking the ferry from Puntarenas to the Nicoya peninsula. This ferry costs 600 Colones per person. $1.20! And about 5000 per vehicle. I think it's the best cheap tourist activity around. It's absolutely beautiful!
