
#1 - East Village Ikimashou! --------------------------------------------------- In this introductory episode of Japan Society's new series, "Nihon New York", we explore New York City's East Village in search of Japanese food and cuisine. Along the way we see the sights and sounds of St. Marks Place and the intersection of Japanese culture in NYC. Through "Nihon New York" we hope to show the variety and mixture of Japanese culture throughout NYC, with it's food, fashion, art, music, games... anything we can find.
