Boss OD-2 Demo. One of my favourite Overdrive pedals. No longer made so you need to have a look on ebay. First bit is all controls at 12 and turbo off. then turbo on gain to full. Recorded using a Shure SM57 on a Marshall 1982a Cab powered by a Peavey Valveking 100 Watt Head. Guitar- fender american strat with BG pups.
Kershaw OverDrive(OD) 2
The Kershaw OD 2 was not on my radar until it was generously given to me by a friend. Once I received the OD 2 I immediately took to the knife as a whole. The OD 2 is a perfect office knife and people friendly EDC. Because of its small size and non treating looks the OD 2 is a very good options for people who work in government/federal buildings or if you just don't like to carry a large knife. The Kershaw OD 2 is relatively small with a blade length of 2 1/4 inches and weighing in at 1.4 oz. I have found that while carrying this knife I did not remember it was in my pocket. I found myself pulling the OD out while in public to open letters and small packages. As I continued to carry the OD 2 I paired it with a larger main EDC knife. Unlike traditional flipper designs where the flipper is actually part of the blade itself, the OD uses a flipper that is connected the the blade tang. One the user flips the blade open the flipper sits down in the handle to provide a comfortable and clean look. The OD 2 is an innovative but simple take on traditional flipper. This is an inexpensive knife that you will get a lot of pleasure out of. Take a look at he OD 2 for something a little different!

Kershaw OD-2 Knife: Fast, Fun, and Affordable
The Kershaw OD-2 is a fun little pocket knife that I highly recommend, even MORE SO than the Kershaw OD-1! With it's small price tag ($13-sh), and equivalent fun-factor, I think this is a more sensible knife to add to your collection. It's got some decent utility with a spear-point and fine edge, and it's small size and light weight make it extremely carry-able. I had a hard time saying "no" to this knife, and I bet you will too.

Messing around with some Van Halen licks. Splawn Quickrod & Charvel San Dimas with an MRX Phase 90 pedal (not on all the time). Volume is at about 1 o'clockish; Its a little louder than my Gear 1 OD2 clip but you could still talk over this...loudly! All other settings are at 12 o'clock.

TOUMANI DIABATE & THE SYMMETRIC ORCHESTRA Kora lessons from the master, recorded live at WOMAD 2008, Taranaki, New Zealand A kora is built from a large calabash cut in half and covered with cow skin to make a resonator, and has a notched bridge like a lute or guitar. The sound of a kora resembles that of a harp, though when played in the traditional style, it bears a closer resemblance to flamenco guitar techniques. The player uses only the thumb and index finger of both hands to pluck the strings in polyrhythmic patterns (using the remaining fingers to hold the sticks either side of the strings and secure the instrument). Ostinato riffs ("Kumbeng") and improvised solo runs ("Biriminting") are played at the same time by skilled players. Kora players have traditionally come from griot families (also from the mandinka tribes) who are traditional historians, genealogists and storytellers who pass their skills on to their descendants. The instrument is played in Mali, Guinea, Senegal, and The Gambia. A traditional kora player is called a Jali, similar to a 'bard' or oral historian. Traditional koras feature 21 strings, eleven played by the left hand and ten by the right. Modern koras made in the Casamance region of southern Senegal sometimes feature additional bass strings, adding up to four strings to the traditional 21. Strings were traditionally made from thin strips of hide, for example antelope skin - now most strings are made from harp strings or nylon fishing line <b>...</b>

Marshall MF 350 Mode Four Amp Head Demo/Review (OD1 & OD2)
I am demoing 2 of the 4 channels of the mode four, the last two on amp two: Overdrive 1: This is a classic Marshall overdrive that has great dynamics and versatility, you can control it with the gain and go from soft and creamy to punchy and hard. Overdrive 2: This channel produces more gain than the last, driving it for heavier modern stuff. Tone Matrix: This is what controls the channels the most, I talk a little bit about it in the video, what it does is controls the EQ of the overdrive (represented by the graph in the video) And I did use the reverb in this demo along with the full EQ section including the Bass, Middle, Trebble, Resonance, Presence, and the Scoop button.
