This is a great fisheye lens for the price. If you're looking for a cheap fisheye lens that does a great job, and that won't break bank, this is the one to go with. I bought my first fisheye lens. My camcorder is a Sony Handycam DCR TRV19. The lens is an Opteka .43x HD2. Just testing it out infront of my house, using my F150 has the focus target mainly. I didn't want to buy a real expensive one, I am aware that there are some better lenses out there, but i'm new to the game and always wanted a fisheye for my camcorder. Got it from 47th st. on ebay for around $40. Love the lens so far. Maybe one day i'll step up to the Baby Death lens.

I just picked up what I consider to be an absolute necessity for the motovlogging adventure motorcyclist: the Opteka BP-SC4000 Ultra Thin Solar Charger and backup battery. This bad boy will charge my helmet cam, video camera, cell phone, GPS, USB rechargeable flashlight, or pretty much any other USB-powered device anywhere there's sun. Not only that, but it charges it QUICKLY. My Samsung Galaxy Vibrant phone took just a bit more than an hour to fully charge with this thing. For $25 at amazon, this 5 watt solar charger is definitely worth it. This is going to be a staple for my KLR 650 motorcycle adventures to keep my tech stuff powered up. It fits perfectly in the "map window" of my tank bag, and will get plenty of sunlight to power my gadgets. It also charges an internal battery that stores power until the sun comes up again. No longer will my videos be cut short by a flashing battery symbol. Woot! Now if I could only get that $!@#*& focus to work.

Just got the lens yesterday and really like it. suggest you pick one up. never played with a mk2 from century but from seeing footy online, looks about the same. I do also have a 16x9 . 4x fisheye, which i still like. but for skating Im going to use the opteka and snow use the 16x9. only cost 255 from amazon this was zoomed into z07 (to get rid of some of the vig.) Oh and this is on a DVX100B.

Is this the best steadicam available under 200 bucks? Check out my review and enjoy a flight through my basement workshop. I shot this with my canon 7d and 10-22mm wide angle lens. It should work equally well with a 5D or rebel or any DSLR for that matter.

Its a 43mm lens and my camera is a 52mm. I used a weird combination of spacers and rings to attach it. I used one spacer, a 43mm to 37mm step up, and a 37mm to 52mm step down. I was able to get a very wide effect with out any vig showing. :D

Comparison Video of the U-Flycam and Opteka X-Grip Camera Settings: 18-55mm VR Auto WB ISO 200 This was just a test to see what kind of improvements the U-Flycam made. The D5000 is mounted on the U-Flycam and on an Opteka X-Grip. I wasn't doing anything too fancy, just running around trying to keep up with my daughter. I still need to fine tune the balancing and hopefully it gets better. If you have any tips on how to balance this thing, please let me know. Nikon D5000 U-Flycam Opteka X-Grip Comparison Video Test

A week ago I ordered from Amazon this Opteka lens, that was on September 8th,finally a week later (September 15th) they arrived! Thank God I was home sick today! If you are looking at getting this brand of lens or this exact kind kind, buy it! They are amazing! I got mine for a total of $239.98. Some argue over the fact that they are not like the MK2 by Centruy Optics. I cannot see one. Although these lens are about $500 bucks cheaper and they are the same quailty and just plain cool! So if you are a skater or a filmer and like this look and have the cash get it! Filmed this with my Sony PD-150 (its just like the Sony vx2000 except this one is a documentary/broadcast camera.
