In 1977 and 1982 the Swedish government decided to increase the Swedish armys mechanized capabilities and studies of a new combat vehicle were initiated. The new vehicle had be fast, have high tactical and strategic mobility, have air defence and anti-tank capability (both day and night time), have high survivability and protection. Försvarets Materiel Verk (FMV), the Army Command, Bofors and Hägglunds formed a project in 1983 in order to find a sollution. In 1984 the new vechicle were ready for presentation and in 1991 the first version of the CV-9040 in basic configuration were ordered by the Swedish Defence. They were delivered in 1993 and the same year new orders were made of the special versions based upon the CV-9040 chassi. This included the The CV9040 Anti Aircraft Vehicle (27 vehicles) and were delivered during 1993-1995. In 1994 more CV-9040 were ordered and between the period 1994-2002, 509 CV-9040s have been acquired by the Swedish Defence. In 2003 the new CV-9040 Ceasar version were delivered.

" A disturbing viral video documents a frightening four minutes in the bathroom of a Worcester strip club. Police say the star of the home digital is a 35-year-old bouncer at Platinum Premier Gentelman's club. The You Tube video shows Easton Byfield confronting an unidentified 25-year-old man in May of last year, accusing him of dealing drugs at the club, and ordering him to empty his pockets. Byfield is seen looking through and attempting to make a call on the man's phone, as he protests the invasion of privacy. Without warning, the man is punched four times in the face and head, and then ordered to kneel down and pray, saying "oh great (expletive) brown dude." At least once, the man tries to escape the bathroom but is blocked and the door is locked. The man is finally allowed to leave after having his belongings tossed at him, minus the money in his wallet--which he's told is his "sacrifice." Police arrested Byfield on Friday as the recording came to light, charged with assault and battery, kidnapping, unarmed robbery. He's also charged with filing a false police report. Officials say after the initial incident, Byfield went to them, claiming he was the one assaulted by the 25-year- old."

However, as the home schooled girl approached middle school age, she apparently wanted to start attending public school, and therefore had to "catch up" on immunizations the state insists are required under color of law. "She began acting out of character, being irritated, having facial grimaces that have been associated with immunizations," Penny told the Detroit News.
