Buy the new album 'Soft Universe' on iTunes (Out Now): bit.ly Having already released three critically acclaimed albums over in Australia it is with great excitement that PNAU announce the release of their new single 'Unite Us' on Ministry of Sound Recordings. Taken from their forthcoming album 'Soft Universe', set for release early next year, this supercharged anthem stands as the perfect introduction to the big, ambitious and elevating sound that has come to characterise PNAU. 'Unite Us' is a supremely effervescent track. It surges with colour and positive energy, bearing allusion to the musical output of Littlemore's highly acclaimed side project Empire of the Sun. His impressive role as composer for the Cirque du Soleil in Paris (he is the youngest musician ever to have filled the position) can also be felt in the track's expansive sound. This is a true performance piece in pop disguise. Energetic vocals relay the anthemic lyric 'Unite Us, baby I can feel a change, don't we all feel the same?' upon a euphoric arrangement of plush synths riffs, pulsating rhythmic passages and bass lines, all of which indicate PNAU's intent to bring their listeners uplifting music that defies club interiors. The single is backed with six eclectic remixes from Kris Menace, Tommy Trash, Wideboys, Douster and Savage Skulls, Raffertie and Wookie. Whilst each of these stand alone as uniquely engaging, together they sweep the spectrum of electronic sub genre, cementing 'Unite Us' as one of ...

Pnau Vs Elton John - Good morning to the night **Super new and super awesome!

Wow. Yes, this happened. This is so so good, it will do more to smash away your winter blues than a flippin solar flare. Its a shame its such a small clip, but keep your eyes out for more and post em up. (please!) I've corrected the title as most people seem pretty sure of it, but that could change. *Full tracks now up! www.youtube.com Insane tho, that Nick Littlemore, inbetween making another Pnau album and the score for cirque du soleil, managed to squeeze in doing this to Elton johns early 70's work. oh yh, just before he started back with the new empire record that is! The story goes that Elton John landed in oz a few years back and, as he does when he travels to any country, asked for the top 10 or 20 albums at the time. One of those was Pnaus 'Again'. From there, he became a fan. Contact was made, friendship followed, then they worked together on the Cirque score which i assume, led to this. I think thats pretty much it from what i can piece together. I cant wait for the forthcoming interviews and such that will surely accompany the release. I dont know many details, i think theyve 're-versioned' and cut up a few tracks from Elton Johns early 70's days. Thanks to actual Elton John fan 'capedwonderjim' for correcting me that "This is a combination of Mona Lisa's and Mad Hatters, the opening of Funeral For A Friend, and Tonight, all from albums between 1972 and 1976" Either way ,its gonna be an 8 track album. Which, judging by this, is gonna be pure summer vibes. It ...

Gran Turismo 5 Soundtrack: Baby (Breakbot Remix) - Pnau (Dance & Electronic)

Dance & Electronic Baby (Breakbot Remix) Pnau 2010 / Polyphony Digital NOTE: This song cannot be found within the in-game Music Library ;) This is one of two Pre-race themes, the other can be found here: www.youtube.comSince I'm not seeing any major uploads of the Gran Turismo 5 soundtrack (mainly the menu music), I decided to get off my lazy bum and do it all myself C: Bear with me however, I do NOT ensure perfect quality of the songs themselves, they are just being recorded in-game using a Dazzle, which mind you, isn't THE BEST piece of equipment I've ever purchased. I'm not sure quite how long it will take this project to upload all 189 tracks, but I'll TRY to at least get them all up within 2 weeks, no guarantees though :) If you have any requests, please comment below! I'll try my best to upload the request as soon as possible ^^ All rights reserved to their proper owners. I do not assume ownership of any of the licensed material shown. PNAU - 'Solid Ground (Too Much Worth Living For)' (Kryder Remix)

MOS is proud to present recently signed Australian duo 'Pnau' who are set to storm the UK scene with their infectious electro-pop sound. Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes (PNAU) have been a staple on the Australian festival scene, gaining themselves a reputation for phenomenal live performances, and have been praised by peers and critics alike, with Elton John declaring it the best album he had heard in 10 years. 'Solid Ground' their debut UK single, is an uptempo pop record in the traditional sense, one that sees PNAU's Peter Mayes and Nick Littlemore branching out into classic songcraft, including subtly orchestrated layers. It bears the influence not just of Empire Of The Sun, Nick's award-winning, commercially successful project, but of Bowie and Bono and Burt Bacharach as well as PNAU's new mentor, Elton John. It feels big, ambitious, expansive, and with a recent 1st exclusive UK play coming from Radio 1's Zane Lowe, we can't wait to unleash this beautiful record! With mixes courtesy of Tim Mason, Adrian Lux, Herve, Kryder, Cassian and Hackman its sure to enter the UK with a bang, as well as a debut album planned for release later in the year too. Watch this space!

Pnau - Better Way

Pnau is an Australian dance music duo originating from Sydney, Australia. The duo consists of musicians Nick Littlemore (vocals, production) and Peter Mayes (guitar, production). The pair have achieved multiple successes throughout their career with their award-winning debut album Sambanova, their universally acclaimed 2008 release Pnau, their breakthrough side-project Empire of the Sun, and their multiple chart-topping singles. Pnau is also recognized for their heavily publicized apprenticeship under musician Elton John, who signed the duo after listening to their record Pnau. A number of projects featuring Elton's involvement with the band are currently in development, such as Pnau's next album Soft Universe and an album featuring Pnau recreations of Elton John's hits.

Pnau - With You Forever

With You Forever by PNAU. Vocals: Luke Steele (Empire of the Sun) I love this song to death! Lyrics: There's a strange pain in my heart Beats in time like the sun You're afar It's a lie You can't deny, sometimes you shine So, I love you I love you I'm with you Forever I want a chance Considering that I'm changing Wanna love you more, More than day (?"more everyday"?) There is a hard look in your eye There is a hard look in your eye There's a strange pain in my heart Beats in time like the sun You're afar It's a lie You can't deny, sometimes you shine So, I love you I love you I'm with you Forever I want a chance Considering that I'm changing Wanna love you more, More than day There is a hard look in your eye There is a hard look in your eye So, I love you I love you I'm with you Forever I want a chance Considering that I'm changing Wanna love you more, More than day Lyrice are hard to understand but I love Lukes voice, so... PNAU- Embrace ft. Ladyhawke

Embrace On a night like tonight you saved my life Red and green wet shoes slip on refracted lights Running faster than my legs can take me Shouting louder than my lungs allow me Why has the river flood Still gotta die for someone Be my embrace now Be my embrace now (x 2) Light a match, bring the flame over to your eye Slipping past, you won't see me before you die Breaking down our sleep, my head's still aching This war is killing you and all around me Why has the river flood Still gotta die for someone Be my embrace now Be my embrace now (x 2) You go, go, go, go (x 4) Why has the river flood Still gotta die for someone Be my embrace now Be my embrace now (x 4)
Pnau - The Truth

It may seem like forever between dances, but the boys from PNAU are finally emerging from their studio sabbatical, bearing gifts of light, song and dance -- as well as a new album. Tentatively titled 'Soft Universe', the album is set to be an emotive exploration of rhythm, orchestrated ballad and epic techno pop. The album is a bit Bowie, a bit Bono, and a bit Burt Bacharach -- easily the most accessible and uplifting venture into the territory of supercharged anthemica which the pair have ever mustered. Aiming large, there was the desire to create something bigger for a bigger stage, moving away from the club towards the event horizon of the future. 'Soft Universe' is a sort of dance-album version of Bob Dylan's Blood on The Tracks -- and exercise in catharsis, bearing the fruits of an emotional two years and personal transformation of the band. With the first single from the album 'The Truth' about to oscillate throughout the radio waves of the world in the coming days, the duo of Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes have been placing the final decorative touches on the album, as they prepare to jump back onto stage as part of the 2011 Big Day Out Tour. This is the world's first chance to listen to PNAU's lead single 'The Truth'. Welcome to the official Ministry of Sound Australia YouTube channel, where we bring you the biggest dance hits first.
