PSFreedom PS3 Jailbreak for Palm Pre: UPDATE
Follow these simple instructions... MAKE SURE YOUR PS3 IS ON FIRMWARE 3.41 DO NOT UPDATE TO 3.42 or 3.50--IT WILL DISABLE THE EXPLOIT 1. Open up Preware (or whatever package application manager you use) and download the app Terminal. 2. UPDATE: Here is a link to the Hermes V4 and PL3 PSGroove. Both allow new features likes booting without a disc and fully updating games: Hermes V4: bit.ly PL3: bit.ly 3. Plug your phone (Pre or Pre Plus--it doesn't matter) to your computer and enable usb mode. 4. Copy the psfreedom.ko file to the ROOT of your phone. The root is the main directory of the phone--the same place where your music, ringtones, videos, etc. folders are. 5. Eject your phone and reboot it. 6. Open up the Terminal app and type the following: insmod /media/internal/psfreedom-hermesv4.ko OR psfreedom-PL3.ko 7. Press enter. If it gives an error about a file being busy, just retype it and press enter again. 8. If successful, another line should appear. 9. Now turn the switch in the back of your PS3 off (or unplug the cable if you have a slim) and then flip it back on (or plug the cable back in). 10. Plug your phone into the first usb port. Turn on the console and immediately afterwards press eject. 11. If you did it right the PS3 should take a little longer to boot. Now check the game column and you should see two new icons. 12. Download the backup manager--Google it, I am not providing it. And place the manager.pkg file onto the root of any usb flash drive. 13. Plug it <b>...</b>

Palm Pre 2 Review by Aaron Aaron does a review of the Palm Pre 2, HP and Palm's newest webOS 2.0-powered smartphone. It packs a 1 GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, and offers a few improvements over the form factor that you know and love from the original device. I asked Tim Pettitt, product manager for HP Palm, to show an overview of the Palm Pre 2. It runs webOS 2.0, the most significant update to the platform since its launch in 2009. Tim shows off the hardware and then goes into more details about webOS 2.0. More photos at mgu.im The Pre 2 is the first Palm phone with a gigahertz processor and features a 5-megapixel camera, a gorilla glass screen and a sleeker, streamlined design that still gives users the ideal combination of a vivid touchscreen and a slide-out keyboard. Tim also pointed out they've added better tactile feedback on the new keyboard, and gorilla glass for scratch resistant display. The next generation of webOS has plenty of updates but here are some of the more noticeable features. Stacks - logically groups together your open apps so they work the way you do. Stacks keeps related items together so managing multiple tasks is even easier. Just Type - Whenever you want to do something on your phone - whether it's emailing, texting, searching or almost anything - just type! is open to developers, so they can integrate with the search function and add their own user-customizable shortcuts, called Quick Actions. Flash Player 10.1 Beta - webOS now supports a beta of Adobe Flash Player 10.1 in the browser, which provides access to rich, Flash based web content.
