Silent Hill - Halo Reach

This segment is over three minutes long and needed to be cropped for the finished product, this is the full version. I used sound effects from silent hill 2 and 3 and maybe some from silent hill 1. You guys really think I should make series out of this? I guess it could be fun seeing how many spots in halo could pass for silent hill.
Halo 3 Gag Reel Part 3
This is the third part of my halo 3 gag reel series. It all of the scenes, other than the darth vader scene, were acted out by myself. In the final scene I had to use editing tools to make multiple characters move at once. The scenes include Portal, Pancake mines, Darth Vader Duel, and Jack Sparrow Ship Hijack. All credit for the pancake mine skit goes to Knoxskorner, I just stole the audio and redid it in Halo.

Dark Cloud Comedic Review Part 1
Part 2 www.youtube.com Just so you know, this isn't really a review as it is a comedic overview of the game. Where do I begin... First of all sorry this isn't Halo related, Halo 3 will soon be replaced with other halo games and I don't thin I can top the 11 minute epic of Albuquerque. As I say in the video I'm a big fan of the That Guy With The Glasses website. thatguywiththeglasses.com I really just wanted to try and make a video in their style, but the problem is that I suck at voice acting and I'm using a microphone from Rock Band. So please excuse my terrible, unintelligible speaking voice and weak microphone. If I continue this I will endeavor to improve these aspects Which brings me to my last question, does anyone want me to continue this? I already played through the game and recorded it all, and I have lots of ideas for the rest of the game. Seeing as this is the into it will probably be the most dull episode the series. Halo Reach Cryostasis
This is the third entry into my halo horror game series. This time I'm trying to emulate the game Cryostasis The Sleep of Reason. While this isn't as good as the Amnesia video I still think it's pretty good in it's own right. I did use sound effects from Cryostasis but also from Amnesia and Silent Hill. Unlike Amnesia, the sound effects for Cryostasis is a lot harder to find. (Amnesia has a very organized directory with all the sounds). Star Wars Droidworks Comedic Review
Just like Dark Cloud this is a video taking about one of my childhood favorites. Star Wars Droid Works. Even though I love it I still love to criticize it for comedic effect. Sorry for the slightly blurry gameplay footage but the setup I needed to record this wasn't that great. I'm only going to make more videos about droid works if people want them. Other wise I'll go back to playing minecraft... or finish that video series I already started... or all of the above! PS I know Kobolds speak Draconic.

Well I finally finished it. It feels a bit rushed but finals are coming up and I don't have any more time to waste. I have to say that filming in Halo Reach is harder than halo 3, simply because of the narrator. I can't even count how many scenes I had to redo or edit out the audio because of "FIRST STRIKE" being uttered after every clip. At least a few of them were funny so I just left them in. The music is the theme song from Monty Python's Flying Circus. PS There is no 52 because there are two 51's. This is part three of my Dark cloud review, like I said before this part was originally meant to be combined with the previous part. Because of that this half feels kind of empty to me, all the good stuff is in the previous part and the end of this part. I'm still having issues with recording dialogue. I have to turn up the gain to be able to hear myself, but then if I say anything too loud it creates more static. I won't however use that as an excuse for my horrible dead pan voice overs which I will try to correct in the future. I recently discovered an awesome song by Weird Al Yankovic about a hardware store. As soon as I heard it I immediately thought that I need to make it into a halo music video. Pirates of the Caribbean the Musical 2
I'm adding this note to my two surviving pirate musicals. I didn't remove the first Pirates musical, Youtube did. They objected to me using 10 seconds of music from the Jonas Brothers. I'm sorry that there is no longer a part 1 but it wasn't my fault. This a sequel to my first pirates musical. The footage obviously came from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and the song's locations are listed in the credits. I use up all of the best pirate songs in my first musical so this musical may not be as good. But if you think about it squeals are rarely as good as the originals.

Pirates of the Caribbean Numa Numa Remix
This is a video I made using pirates of the caribbean footage and the numa numa DJ Ross remix. I chose this song because it is incredibly fast paced and I wanted to see how many effects I could do using Windows Movie Maker. This is just a silly video with no real purpose at all. But in the end the video kept crashing as I was making it and for some reason the video quality has droped. I still hope you enjoy it though.

Amnesia - Halo Reach
I don't know why the audio quality sucks, it's not like that on the original video file! Now the video is filed with random poping sounds! . . . sigh Here is the video that comes before this one www.youtube.com This is the sequel to my Silent hill halo video. Nearly all of the sound effects are from the game Amnesia the Dark Descent. The same game that the gameplay of this video is based off of. The sound effects are pulled from the actual game files, I love it when a game's sound effects are out in the open for anyone to use. No this is not done in a COMPLETE Amnesia style, since It's a sequel to my silent hill video it kept some of it's traits I found useful, like narrating text. And obviously the drain puzzle. Oh, and I admit the footsteps are way too loud, but it was even worse before. I guess after working on it for so long you become desensitized to the annoying flaws.

Minecraft Town / Atlantis Submarine
Yeah, I hate recording dialogue in the dorm. This video is just a visual tour of our town, if nothing else it was enjoyable to throw together a video timed to music from Disney's Atlantis and Treasure Planet. There were about nine of us in this server and about six in the town itself. Everyone has put a lot of work into this and we're really happy with the results. In case you're curious I built: the bank, the gallery, Jerry's Bait Shop (hint hint), the prison (not shown in this video), my house (obviously), the greenhouse, the tower, the bridge leading to the town, and I am currently working on the Atlantis Submarine... all my friends call me insane but it's so much fun! www.youtube.com PS The texture pack we are using is a splice of about four different packs I threw together in Photoshop. I think it includes Glimmar's Steampunk, Dokus' RPG, Painterly, Mixcraft, and Survival Horror Mob pack. I've honestly lost track.

Halo 3 Albuquerque
Please read the description! The original song is about 11 minutes 20 seconds long but youtube had a ten minute limit at the time this was posted. In order to get the video to upload I had to cut out some empty bits of the song. Hopefully it won't be too obvious. The song is Albuquerque by Weird Al Yankovic. When I was about half way through making this video I realized how crazy this video is, but at the same time I was already halfway done and if I didn't' finish the video it would be wasted effort. Anyway as you can see in this video I've really put that photoshop class to use. About 40 percent of the video is silly effects with images and editing. Halo 3 Transition
Don't take this thing too seriously. The overall joke is that a running gag is now a major plot point. This video has a lot of problems. When I went to render the movie it kept crashing every single time. I had to render it in parts and then stick them back together. Because of that I didn't get to go back and fix all the small errors and volume problems I found later. I just got fed up with it and just posted it as is. This is my first attempt at making a drama/action halo movie. It didn't turn out very well but it does have some nice camp value with the time traveling warthog. I had fun making a montage of most of my past videos (and one not even made yet). It ends with the guy landing in Halo Reach, setting up any future halo videos. It's not the best but it's still okay. Pirates of the Caribbean Survivor
To all of the people who subscribed to my account to see halo videos, just ignore this one. A new halo video will also be posted soon for you guys anyway. To my few long time subscribers from way back when I made Pirates of the Caribbean videos, I wish to give a formal apology. You guys came to expect me to make Pirates of the Caribbean videos but then I very suddenly without warning started posting Halo videos instead. This video is a remake of one of my first videos. It is a spoof the intro to survivor using characters from Pirates of the Caribbean. This one looks much more like the real thing with better editing software, better editing, and just all around better experience. This will probably be my last Pirates of the Caribbean videos seeing as the audience for this particular group of videos has dried up with the end of the movie releases. As the title suggests this video is a sequel to my "100 ways to die in Halo 3". Sequels are never as good as the originals, but I still think this video turned out ok. Halo 3 Ebay
I found a few unexpected days of free time so I made another Weird Al Halo music video. I didn't have much time before classes start again so I got this cranked out in just two days from start to finish. That's a new personal record! The song is Ebay by Weird Al Yankovic, and this video is another in my line of Weird Al halo music videos. It's not as good as Hardware store or Everything you know is wrong videos, but I still think it turned out okay. However one thing I'm upset about is that the s-video input on my video capture device is broken. So I had to use the the composite video input and thus getting a lower quality video, the same problem applied to my Everything you know is wrong video. But, what can I do about it now...
