"Pinoy This Way" by Mikey Bustos (Lady Gaga Parody)

Facebook Fan Page: www.facebook.com Official Twitter: www.Twitter.com PINOY THIS WAY Lyrics: It doesn't matter if your Pinay or if you're PINOY. Just point with your lips, pare 'cause we're pinoy this way, baby. Use your eyes... If it was snake it bit you already! My Momma scolded me when I was young, when I said I hated school. She said "You know the land where we come from, every class is always full." Because in Philippines education is never taken for granted, no it's not, along with food, work, and medication, we know they all come from God. Back home, a land far away, Where we work hard every day, It makes us grateful, baby We're pinoy this way Where you will need pamaypay As temperature rises high You have not lived 'till you live like a pinoy this way. Nothing ever goes to waste, Appreciate, don't throw away Baby, we're pinoy this way! Say my prayers everyday, Bless to all the elderly, We always say "po" cuz We're pinoy this way. Don't mean to brag, it's Philippines, We're Ricivores, it's in our genes, Model for Bench, I want to be My mom said no, and palo'ed me Our culture's full of diversity, We're waving the red, white, yellow, and blue Tagalog, Ibanag, Kapamgpangan And Ilolano are my roots. Whether you are in the provinces or in the Capitol Manila, hey-hey You'll find we're all the same deep down inside, Pinoy tayo! and Mabuhey! It's mabuhay Think traffic here makes you curse? Well, in Manila it's worse, But we still show respect baby, we're pinoy this way I ...

Pinoy Memories 36

Pinoy Memories - Philippine President Marcos explains his "New Society" plan for the ordinary Filipino since declaring Martial Law through-out the nation on September 21, 1972. Martial law and the New Society: Proclamation of martial law - The spate of bombings and subversive activities led President Marcos to declare that "there is throughout the land a state of anarchy and lawlessness, chaos and disorder, turmoil and destruction of a magnitude equivalent to an actual war between the forces of our duly constituted government and the New People's Army and their satellite organizations...and that public order and safety and security of the nation demand that immediate, swift, decisive and effective action be taken to protect and insure the peace, order and security of the country and its population and to maintain the authority of the government." On September 21, 1972 President Marcos issued Presidential Proclamation No. 1081 placing the entire country under martial law but it was announced only two days later. In proclaiming martial law, President Marcos assured the public that "the proclamation of martial law is not a military takeover" and that civilian government still functions. Initial measures - In his first address to the nation after issuing Proclamation No. 1081, President Marcos said that martial law has two objectives: (1) to save the republic, and (2) to "reform the social, economic and political institutions in our country." In accordance with the two ...

Pinoy Recipe - Pinoy Bistek (Filipino Beef Steak)

I love Pinoy Bistek. Visit www.pinoy-recipes.com for more mouth watering Pinoy recipe. I think every Filipino does. Nunnie likes it a lot. This pinoy recipe is really really easy to make. I just wish that it was more affordable when I was still in the Philippines. Beef is expensive in the Philippines that is why I was not able to eat this whenever I wanted to. This bistek or Filipino beef steak is a very simple recipe. Basically, this is just some thin strips of beef marinated in soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and ground pepper. We, Filipinos love the combination of soy sauce and lemon juice or soy sauce and vinegar. For some reason, the combination of saltiness and sourness gives a very good flavor for any meat. When I cooked bistek last week, I had to go to work so I left this in a covered container on the table. When I got home, Nunnie was already sleeping and I noticed that the bistek was untouched. So I thought that he probably did not like it. I felt a little sad because I cooked nothing else that day but the bistek and I was wondering what he ate for supper if he did not like the bistek. I ended up eating the beef steak by myself. I ate it for 2 days, divided in 6 meals. When we were narrating the video, he asked me where was the bistek. I told him I ate it all. And he was so surprised by my response. He knows that I am on a special diet and I could not eat just any food. So he thought I ate it all and did not think about my health issue. I told him I ate that ...

Misuse of Freedom and Democracy, that is the game of Philippines' leading media companies, which are owned by Oligarchs. Philippines is not a country of DEMOCRACY as shown in BBC and Al Jazeera documentaries. It is an Oligarchy, a country ruled by few rich families. Few rich families who are also elected as political dynasties. Their family businesses benefiting from immense government funds called PORK BARREL. The sad state of the Philippines is being covered up by the media, blaming its poor citizens who commits crime fueled by hunger. While the same media glorifies People Power Revolution. Pinoy Recipe - Adobong Manok (Chicken Adobo)

Chicken adobo or adobong manok is one of the most popular dish in the Philippines. Visit www.pinoy-recipes.com for more mouth watering Pinoy recipe. Everybody likes it and almost everybody knows how to cook it. And also, everybody has their own way of making their adobo. Like me for example. I have seen some of my relatives cook adobo and without tomatoes. I have also seen one of my aunt put tomato sauce on her adobo. See, everybody has their own style. And this particular recipe is "my style." But I actually got it from my Aunt Ruth because that's how she makes her adobo. She would put tomatoes and I find it a lot better compared to adobo without tomatoes. But anyway, like what I have said, everybody has their own style and preference when it comes to cooking. You should go with what you are comfortable with. Like on this particular video recipe, at first, we mentioned that the optional ingredients are Mang Tomas All-Purpose Sauce and oyster sauce. While cooking the adobo, I was really hesitant on adding those two ingredients because I don't know how it will turn out. It will probably turn out good, but the thing is, we made this particular video recipe for my brother-in-law who doesn't even know what adobo tastes like. And besides, I don't even know if there is an Asian store where he can buy Mang Tomas All-Purpose Sauce. So, we decided to not include those two optional ingredients and just go with what I know and what Nunnie likes. Anyway, it came out really good. I am ...

Food #1 : Pinoy Street Food

✙✙✙✙ SCROLL DOWN TO READ DESCRIPTION ✙✙✙✙ Went out with the kids to eat some of the Philippine's famous street food. You will extensively see two kinds of street food in this episode. The grilled kind and the fried kind. The grilled food we call them INIHAW, meaning it was cooked using a grill. IHAW is to grill. I don't eat pork anymore but my former top fave it the BBQ. After that the Chicken Intestine or ISAW as we call it. It's a bit gummy but very chewable. Unlike, in my opinion, the pig intestine (Isaw Babuy) which is extremely gummy. On it's own it's not as yummy unless you're after the smoky taste, otherwise feel free to eat it as it is. But the fun part comes when you dip it in different sauces! For hygienic purposes, it is ideal not to dip it again in the vat AFTER you have taken a bite already. But there are a lot of "pasaway" or hard headed people who go into a dipping frenzy when eating. I used to eat coagulated blood or BETAMAX (because usually they're rectangular in shape like, yes, a Betamax tape) but it's pork too. The other ones like ADIDAS (Chicken feet, go figure why it's called Adidas!) , chicken head and the rest I have never tried and I am CHICKEN enough to never try it at all. Haha! Fishballs, squidballs, chicken balls and sometimes shrimp balls are very common. It fills the stomach just right and it is more sanitary than the grilled counterpart since it is deep fried. But the ordeal with the sauces is the same. It is also very cheap, with ...
