There are plenty of sports teams out there that are easy to hate. You know the ones: insane salary caps, Machiavellian coach, a grip of championships and a cherry picked first string that features a combination of preternatural talent and unyielding ambition that's so sickening, so genetically improbable and numerically inconceivable that it's all just gross. But amongst the multimillionaire prima donna superstars and draconian standards of extreme professionalism there's this one guy. A player that's easy to like: 29-year-old New York rightfielder named Nick Swisher. The son of former major league catcher Steve Swisher, raised mostly by his grandparents in West Virginia, Nick played football, basketball and baseball growing up. By the end of high school, he'd decided to follow in his father's footsteps. "After my senior year, I thought, 'Yeah, I'll get a call and get drafted,'" he says. "And sure enough nothing happened. I was bummed for weeks, 'cause I thought somebody would at least show a bit of interest—not only having my father, but me being able to play at the time. I went to college and told myself I wasn't going to let that happen again. I went from not getting drafted out of high school to being a first rounder." Eight years later, five seasons into the big leagues, on the pinstriped Bronx team with 27 World Championships in their 110-year history, Swisher appreciates the blessings his hard work has brought him. I just finish applying white vinyl and gold pinstripes on the rear cowl. I tried different patterns and coverages of the rear cowl and finally decided what you see here. Fuel tank has Frost Matte vinyl to protect from scratches. What do you guys think?

With a cutter and a ruler, cut thin stripes in the tape. Don't measure them, just cut them long enough, you'll cut the exces afterwards. 3. Remove each stripe carefully and stick it on your guitar. Use your fingers to make them follow the shape of the body.
