Patriot Guard - A Pittance of Time

Video Created By:www.facebook.com Can you spare a few minutes for those who stood for us all The song was done by a Canadian His name is Terry Kelly, the situation that inspired his song follows; On November 11, 1999 (the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month; WWI) Terry Kelly was in a Shoppers Drug Mart store in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Canada . At 10:55 AM an announcement came over the store's PA asking customers who would still be on the premises at 11:00 AM to give two minutes of silence in respect to the veterans who have sacrificed so much for us. Terry was impressed with the store's leadership role in adopting the Legion's "two minutes of silence" initiative. He felt that the store's contribution of educating the public to the importance of remembering was commendable. When eleven o'clock arrived on that day, an announcement was again made asking for the "two minutes of silence" to commence. All customers, with the exception of a man who was accompanied by his young child, showed their respect. Terry's anger towards the father for trying to engage the store's clerk in conversation and for setting a bad example for his child was later channelled into a beautiful piece of work called, "A Pittance of Time". Terry later recorded "A Pittance of Time" and included it on his full-length music CD, "The Power of the Dream".
Obama says surgeons make $40000 to amputate a limb

In his healthcare townhall meeting in New Hampshire, President Obama states that surgeons get paid $30000-$50000 to amputate a limb in diabetic patients. First of all he is way off base regarding the money paid to surgeons because in the hospital where I work I frequently cant find a surgeon to do the amputation. THey obviously don't get paid much especially in a potentially high risk surgery. Why doesn't he talk about medical legal liability reform/tort reform to help reduce costs? Is he being lobbying by the trial attorneys- Oh no way! Maybe if the surgeon didn't have to pay so much in malpractice the cost of this patients care could be less. Lastly how can he discuss healthcare reform adequately when he gets facts severely wrong.

first song: A Pittance of Time - Terry Kelly They fought and some died for their homeland. They fought and some died, now it's our land. Look at his little child; there's no fear in her eyes. Could he not show respect for other dads who have died? Take two minutes, would you mind? It's a pittance of time, For the boys and the girls who went over. In peace may they rest, may we never forget why they died. It's a pittance of time. God forgive me for wanting to strike him. Give me strength so as not to be like him. My heart pounds in my breast, fingers pressed to my lips, My throat wants to bawl out, my tongue barely resists. But two minutes I will bide. It's a pittance of time, For the boys and the girls who went over. In peace may they rest. May we never forget why they died. It's a pittance of time. Read the letters and poems of the heroes at home. They have casualties, battles, and fears of their own. There's a price to be paid if you go, if you stay. Freedom's fought for and won in numerous ways. Take two minutes, would you mind? It's a pittance of time, For the boys and the girls all over. May we never forget, our young become vets. At the end of the line, It's a pittance of time. It takes courage to fight in your own war. It takes courage to fight someone else's war. Our peacekeepers tell of their own living hell. They bring hope to foreign lands that hate mongers can't kill. Take two minutes, would you mind? It's a pittance of time, For the boys and the girls who go ...

REMEMBERANCE DAY SONG. A PITTANCE OF TIME

A respectful song for fallen heroes, ex and present members of the armed forces throughout the world but especially the British. I'm sure most families have relatives past and present who served their country. 2 minutes on the 11th November, A small price to pay. Lest we forget.

My cousin, Adam requested I learn this song so I thought it would be cool to not only learn it but post it for Remembrance Day. I apologize to Terry Kelly for not quite doing it justice as I did just learn it this morning...but it's the thought that counts right? Plus, since I am currently in Austin, Texas, there are no poppies to be had! So...i made one out of a red plastic cup and pinned it to my green shirt! Again..it's the thought that counts??! I hope you enjoy.

Terry Kelly ♫Pittance of Time♫

Happy Remembrance Day to all of Canada. This song has brought me to tears since its beautiful and sad of all the soldiers of have died in Afghanistan, WorldWar2 WorldWar1, etc... So far, so many people have said on other video's of this song, this will bring Canada together as one. Happy remembrance day Canada, be proud of what we are and what we have become. "Peace and love wern't just in the 60s, it is what we are. To this day, we fight for the right of our children and our friends. Take down bullying of all sorts and bring up the hopes and dreams of everyone!" A Quote from Coolio & part is from John Lennon.
