Denn Polen lebt im Moment ganz gut mit dem Zloty. Die polnische Währung ist nicht an den Euro gebunden und kann je nach Wirtschaftslage auf- oder abgewertet werden. Die Abwertung des Zloty gegenüber dem Euro hat der polnischen Wirtschaft in den letzten Jahren dabei geholfen, einigermaßen gut durch die Krise zu kommen. Durch die Abwertung haben sich die Exporte in den Euroraum verbilligt. Die Einführung des Euro wird in Warschau jetzt auf die lange Bank geschoben. Die Nazis planten, im besetzten Polen, in einem Distrikt namens Warthegau, ein Experimentierfeld des Rassenwahns zu installieren. Eine blonde Provinz, so Heinrich Himmler, sollte entstehen, ein Laboratorium zur Züchtung des germanischen Herrenmenschen. Innerhalb weniger Wochen wurden Hunderttausende Polen und Juden zur Vertreibung freigegeben, als Arbeitssklaven missbraucht oder getötet. Es war der Beginn des Holocaust.
