After many outtakes, edits and fuck ups, I gave up and made this video in one go. I'm tired as hell, face has been eaten up by bugs from the yardwork yesterday, I have a gnarly headache, and I could use some coffee! So suck it! Clearly, I gave up at the end. I don't care. This is my third video of combin' my pompadour. I have used Murray's Superior and Royal Crown Pomade in this video. The combs I used were bought at WalMart and came in a variety pack for about $3. They are all made by Conair. The music in the background is from Classic Rockabilly, an imported 4 disc collection distributed by England's Proper record label. It is a steal for only $16! Hope you enjoy the video and I can offer help to anyone who would like to sport the rockabilly look and lifestyle. A pompadour with a DA is kind of a lost art these days, but being a fan of the fifties and being a fan of Rockabilly has added alot of fun to my life. Have fun you cool cats and chicks, and always make sure there is time for a little "Good Rockin' Tonight" and every night! (PS Sorry that the video camera angle is a little "over my head" but it was the only way i could set it up in my bathroom.....but you'll get over it...ha-ha)

The Perfect Pompadour (3 Easy Ways - No Teasing)
Three quick and easy ways to achieve a perfect poof! No teasing, no heat, no product! Its pretty much foolproof. :) This style doesn't require bangs, in fact, its easier with longer pieces of hair. If you have really short bangs just use a smaller section of hair towards the forehead to prevent fly-aways. If you have difficult time making poofs, try subbing bobby pins with a small hair band. If you have slippery hair like mine, the twist poof is ideal and will last all day! I like to sleep with them in just because they do such an amazing job of keeping my bangs out of my face. :) If you REALLY have a tough time with poofs, try making one with day old hair. Having your hair slightly damp might help, too. How to Syle Short Hair - Pompadour

Step 1: Gather Materials To style your pompadour, you'll need: * A teasing comb * A workable hair spray * Bobby pins Step 2: Prepare Hair Start off by deciding where you want your pompadour to lie and how the sides will be styled. Section off the starting points at the hairline. Sleek down the side hair so that it lies flat to the head. Step 3: Tease Hair Tease the top row of hair that you sectioned off. Start at the crown of the head and pull up a part of the hair. Tease it down and move to the next section. Continue moving forward until you're almost at the hairline. Don't tease the very front section of hair. You want to keep this part smooth so that it can lie over the pompadour and rest over the teased section. As you tease the hair, spray it with the hair spray to hold the shape and volume. Step 4: Set the Pomp Set the pomp in place by pulling the smooth, front section over the top of the teased hair behind it.
