I had two options with this boss. Either kill him in his regular ghost form or wait until he seperate. I chose the latter, because one tempest gives nearly 2 OVLs. Which explains why I straight denied him. I did lose a few times because of splash spam. In that case for those planning a solo or run or some sort water cape comes in handy here. Reduces the splash damage dramatically. Recently I have been getting alot of Raven questions or questions for other people trying to solo so..for those who may have any Raven related questions go ahead. Haha finally managed to counter-troll the damn bats. Bet they don't like getting splashed up. Only thing I didn't like about this battle is that pteropus took so damn long to separate when it normally takes a second. I can't even get close because it has this extremely cheap and random hitbox. Again I was having a good time watching the bats fly around in confusion. Gotta love boss betrayal. Starman'd

Player: Clip The return of Clip theme A. I dislike these two bosses since they are the transition into the actual interesting phase of part 2. So mashed em' up to get it out of the way. Pteropus as usual takes all day to split up and outbreaker is weak to water so splashed that upon em. Couldn't help but cool/trollface during Pteropus's OVL. NIND = No Items, No Death. Another boss with a really awfull hitbox. You can kill it before it splits, but I screwed up in the middle of the combo. So it was cheese time after that since Yuri doesn't have many good ways to handle multiple enemies outside of OVL. Music: - Vampire Killer (Castlevania Judgement Version)

Raven: "I was not expecting that." This battle was annoying. The first thing he decided to do was split. Now in the split forms normally the first thing would be to take the leader bat out. However, it tends to stay away from the other bats. Meaning if I was to focus on the leader I would get splashed to death. No one wants that. In order to prevent a ton of splashes/windblades from destroying me I needed to freeze time and take out as many as I can. Tempest got the job done.

Pteropus on unknown. He will eventually split into several bats, one will be named "Leader Bat." Kill that bat before they recombine, and you'll get the secret mission. ***NOTE: DO NOT WATCH THIS IN 1080P. Youtube did something during either November or December of 2009, and as a result, all of my 1080p videos are double the length. All of the other resolutions should work fine.

Nonew game EX, Normal difficulty, forced fights only. This is the hardest fight since Zagi (2nd Encounter), Pteropus could destroy my allies in his main form so i wanted him to stay out of it and kill him in his multiple bat form, even then he's still hard because your constantly being hit by near unavoidable spells and getting confused often along with taking quite a bit of damage, it racks up fast when your being attacked by 4+ enemies at once. The main problems here are the main form and the 4 magic bats, the main form has alot of HP and and some nasty attacks which can quickly wipe out your allies not to mention he can easily split into the bats at any time which have seperate HP, i found it easier to deal with the multiple bats, the problem here are the 4 magic bats, they only have 6000 HP but if you kill too many then the bats merge into the main form again and he'll stay in it for quite a while than compared to the 1st time, also when he unmerges all the bats come back even the ones you killed so you need to be careful, going all out on the leader bat can work but chances are it will go wrong, i found it best killing 2 magic bats then damaging the leader bat, he'll probably go back into the main form but when he splits again the leader should be close to death so quickly finish him, you could also kill a few more magic bats before finishing him, when the Leader Bat goes down he won't merge back into the main form so it leaves a fairly easy victory once you get rid <b>...</b>

This bat/ghost hybrid has a powerful attack. On a regular basis just try to solo him in order to prevent the split. Splitting on unknown mode is sure hell because the magic bats spam hax splashes, and the attack bats swarm and rape with a soundwave. If you wasn't able to prevent him from splitting then Dhaos Blast spam does great work keep them all down. If you don't happen to have a dhaos cape then hopefully Raven has tempest by now. Overlimit and spam to keep them under control. Make sure to not bring Karol and Repede because Repede has a tough time hitting aerial enemies, and Karol would just get blasted by swarms of bats.
Player 1: Vilde Player 2: Rampe Difficulty mode: Hard Secret Mission: After Pteropus splits itself into a swarm of bats, just kill the leader bat before it returns to normal. If you fail to kill it, just wait untill it splits up again. IMPORTANT: If you are trying to get all of the secret missions, remember to sleep twice at the Mantaic inn just when you're supposed to go to the Sands of Kogorh. You will receive an item that is needed later to get a secret mission and it is missable.

Highly complex battle plan: Kill it before it splits. The magic bats lock and rip Karol down fairly quickly, meaning, Killing the leader bat a bad idea. Pteropus' strange hitbox pretty much cancels out any use of Karol's Arcane artes making this fight a tad weird to get use to, also, it hits so incredibly hard so I have to keep it locked down.
