I just got this card today, and this video is just a test run of this card. Resolution is set at 1280x960, while all the quality are at high to very high, or ultra high in FSX I did it at that resolution only for it to appear right on youtube, i usually play 1440x900 which is the max my monitor supports I upgraded from a 8500GT card, and the performance difference is just so great... I got around 50 fps increase from 8500GT at the same settings, but the improvement in FSX is sort of weird... there is a 5-75 fps increase. Most of it in extreme weather conditions and addon airports. And even tho it's just a tiny lower than i expected, it's awesome, now i can fly in HD clouds at around 50fps. Can't ask for more on a game like this:) Now when i fly helicopter, i actually get fps at 100+...used to get around 20s.. I'm getting fps in the mid 20s during GTA IV, mostly around 25ish, due to the fact fraps is running, normally i play at 1440x900 and i get fps in the low 30s or high 20s. For FSX, i'm getting frames in the low 20s and high 10s. Which is pretty good for FSX i'd say on a scenery airport. Computer specs are available on my channel, but i'll just post it again... I OC'ed this CPU to 3.0 GHz. Ran stable and smooth, but I didn't do any benchmarks, nor did I care to. Some people did higher OC jobs on this one, going to 3.2 - 3.6 Ghz, but what I wanted here is good temps and not to see this particular client on the count of his CPU burned over some time, since as you know, OC'ing shortens CPU life cycle. Tcase temp for the G0 stepping version of Q6600 is 71.5 C, and I got 59C top on the full load during 9.5 hours of testing. Ambient during test phase was between 24.5 - 27.5 C and the case fans were kept on the medium setting, except the back 120mm, and the cooler's fans, since they're 3-pin fans (always on full blast).
