'US played right into Al-Qaeda hands in Yemen'

In Yemen the US is siding with the government, with its troops providing targeting data to fight Al-Qaeda - which some already dubbed an escalation of America's clandestine war in the country. Government forces used heavy artillery and warplanes to pound Al-Qaeda positions in the south of the country, killing at least 29 militants. Al-Qaeda-linked fighters have taken over several towns in the past year, forcing out troops and establishing their own rule. Anti-war activist Susan Lindauer talks to RT. Al-Qaeda's English DIY Guide to Jihad: How-To Manual's Instructions for Amateur Terrorists

After the death of al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden last year, many thought the radical Islamic movement would lose its cohesion and become fractured. But propaganda chiefs have again sought to embolden their followers with the release of a new English-language guide to jihad. The 16-page professionally designed manual calls for attacks by home-grown militants on Western targets by specifically asking "brothers and sisters from the West to attack America in its own backyard." Authored by British-born Pakistani al-Qaeda operative Samir Khan, the guide provides day-to-day practicalities of waging jihad in Arab nations as well as in the United States. The how-to manual does not include instructions for building bombs, though it does cover subjects such as personal hygiene and what to do if you are caught in an aerial bombardment. The online booklet echoes similar online guides made by former al-Qaeda recruiter Anwar al-Awlaki and seems to reflect a startling trend of easy-to-understand instructions geared toward novice militants.

The US has hinted it could eventually give arms to rebels in Syria - despite previous strident opposition to further militarizing the conflict in the country. Mr Weinstein, 70, an aid expert living in Pakistan, was kidnapped by armed men in the city of Lahore last August. The short video was posted to Islamist websites on Sunday, according to Site. Last year al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri said Mr Weinstein would be freed if the US stopped air strikes. 'Life in your hands' In a video released last December, the al-Qaeda leader demanded that the US cease strikes in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Somalia and Yemen and also demanded the release of al-Qaeda and Taliban suspects around the world, including the 1993 World Trade Center bombers. "My life is in your hands, Mr President. If you accept the demands, I live; if you don't accept the demands, then I die," Site quoted Mr Weinstein as saying in the latest video. al-Qaeda turns to Africa to pursue fight 04.04.12

A report from a London-based think-tank says al-Qaeda is looking to new partnerships in Africa to recover its strength. The report by the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) says al-Qaeda is continuing to build up and influence local Islamist groups, to open a new front in its attempts at global jihad. It talks of an arc of regional instability across Africa, from Mali in the west, to Somalia and Kenya in the east. It warns the UK cannot expect to remain immune as al-Qaeda, which is weakened following the death of terror mastermind Osama bin Laden in May last year, looks to partnerships in Saharan and sub-Saharan Africa to re-group and re-energise itself. The report's author Valentina Soria said western security and intelligence agencies face new challenges "as jihadism evolves and disperses into territories of ungoverned, or loosely governed, space across large stretches of the African continent". "Most significant is the potential for radicalisation and then mobilisation of a new subset of British youths," she wrote. "This has already taken place over the last 15 years in sections of the Pakistani, North African and even the Indian communities; the UK could soon be facing much greater radicalisation among the Somali minority and new radicalisation in some sections of other communities from east and west African countries." Ms Soria said foreign fighters now represent "a valuable, albeit still limited, source of manpower for al-Shabaab", a Somali terror group banned ...

Chossudovsky: Al Qaeda and US-NATO Special Forces on the Ground in Syria

Thousands have taken to the streets of the Syrian capital Damascus to support the country's embattled leader Bashar al-Assad. The demonstration comes on the year anniversary of the anti-Assad uprising that has left scores dead and injured. The pro-Assad rally is taking place under the slogan of protesting a 'one-year conspiracy' to overthrow the regime. The opposition said that Assad has forced people to attend the Damascus demonstration in order to overshadow the opposition rallies marking the beginning of the popular uprising in Syria a year ago, AP reports. Video footage, however, shows people of different ages, including children, dancing and waving Syrian flags. Others had the national flag painted on their faces. With opposition rallies planned all over Syria and abroad, local activists report the increased presence of the Syrian army in opposition strongholds. The Popular uprising in Syria against the current regime started in mid-March last year. According to the UN, 7500 people have been killed in the conflict. While western states urge President Assad to leave his post, he claims the foreign-directed opposition is filled with terrorists and gangsters seeking to destroy Syria. Political analyst Christoph Horstel, who was at the rally in Damascus, told RT that those who are still choosing violence over dialogue aren't really interested in a Syrian democracy. Hillary Clinton : We created Al-Qaeda

In this video Hilary Clinton admits that the US government created and funded Al-Qaeda in order to fight the soviet union, and she even considers that as a good thing. But she claims that the Americans are fighting Al-Qaeda nowadays. If you really fighting Al-Qaeda, then who are the scums and terrorists you used in order to topple the government of Qaddafi in Libya... The American media describes "Aldel Hakim Belhaj" as an x-terrorist or as an x-jihadist. How funny and hypocrite! Did his brain develop suddenly? or what are the marks that made him an x-Jihadist? There is only one reason... The American needed him, so they whitened his page and he became suddenly an x-Jihadist... Wait a couple of years to see him again an active jihadist when the Americans don't need his services... Al-Qaeda didn't leave the US government bed... Let us review the history and see that Al-Qaeda acts served only the US foreign policy... Al-Qaeda terrorists are multipurpose fighters who are being used efficiently by the US government...

Al Qaeda's Dark Secret Exposed

www.infowars.com In a special video address, Alex Jones terms the al Qaeda intelligence operation a 'swiss army knife' for destabilization. Simply put, it is a tool to foment crisis that allows the globalists to offer up a solution. The shadowy enemy supposedly run by Osama bin Laden and top jihadists like Anwar al-Awlaki is really run out of US foreign policy and the Pentagon. It is perhaps government's greatest hoax... and one of the oldest tricks in the book. For the average person who has lived through the phony 'War on Terror', a post-9/11 age of fear that has swirled around the persona of bin Laden, it may be quite confusing to now read headlines like Libya: the West and al-Qaeda on the same side. Indeed the rebel forces trying to topple Gaddafi admittedly include thousands of al Qaeda forces while enjoying total backing-- weapons, planes, funding and forces-- from the US, Britain, NATO and other allies.
