'US played right into Al-Qaeda hands in Yemen'

In Yemen the US is siding with the government, with its troops providing targeting data to fight Al-Qaeda - which some already dubbed an escalation of America's clandestine war in the country. Government forces used heavy artillery and warplanes to pound Al-Qaeda positions in the south of the country, killing at least 29 militants. Al-Qaeda-linked fighters have taken over several towns in the past year, forcing out troops and establishing their own rule. Anti-war activist Susan Lindauer talks to RT. She believes American help will do more harm than good, hurting US interests in the region.
