The consignment was destined for Nairobi but was intercepted by police and customs officials at the Mombasa port. Kenyan troops may take more time than earlier planned to reach the Al Shabaab stronghold of Kismayu as rains continue to hamper the advance. The victory in the town came as the military announced that one of the soldiers wounded in yesterday's ambush by Al-Shabaab had died in hospital.
