Saravanan's sister Soundarya is calling her husband Prakash who lives in Dubai but she could not make it. She conveys that to her mother Sharadha and tells her that Prakash was not attending and replying to her call over a long period of time. Sharadha is shocked and she doubs whether her son-in-law is angry with her daughter. She tells Soundarya to call her mother-in-law who lives in Chennai and she also asks her not to reveal this matter to any body and especially to her father Rajasekar. But Rajasekar hears it and he asks them what it is, Sharadha manages and pretends to be nothing. Yamini and her father Ravindran come to Radio Mirchi office to meet Saravanan. Ravindran informs Saravanan that he is leaving to UK and Yamini is also accompanying him. Saravanan feels happy that he is going to become free from Yamini but Ravindran adds that Yamini will be back after twenty days. He gives a ring to Yamini and asks her to wear it on Saravanan as a mark of love. Later Ravindran bids adieu to Saravanan and leaves. Yamini while leaving kisses Saravanan.
