Robert Carlyle on Becoming Rumplestiltskin For Once Upon a Time
We met with Scottish actor Robert Carlyle at PaleyFest, who talked becoming Rumplestiltskin for Once Upon a Time. Robert shared that it took two hours to get the entire costume on (including 20 minutes to lace up the boots!), and another hour to get it off. Robert went on to talk about how much he enjoys playing the "more flourishy" Rumplestiltskin versus Mr. Gold, and how the inspiration for the voice of the character came from his six-year-old son joking around.
