This is a quick walkthrough of the UI on the Sandisk Sansa E250 Version 2 which has been flashed with the latest official firmware. As you can see in the demo, the way it handles podcasts is far from ideal. You'll see Hirsty's Daily Dose only appears in the 'Songs' list, and to find it you have to scroll through.. very tedious.. and that's only with 5-6 albums installed on the device!! All your songs need proper/consistent ID3 tags too; it won't use the folder structure at all. There are no options to browse the folder structure in any way. If only Rockbox worked on the Sansa V2.. that'd make this MP3 really kick @ss. As it stands it's mediocre at best. Come on Sandisk developers.. help the Rockbox devs port it to the V2!!!

Luckily, SanDisk knew a good thing when it saw one and created the Sansa Clip+, a fantastic follow-up that builds upon the great foundation of its predecessor. The player continues to offer an ultracompact design complemented by useful features and solid sound quality--and all at an unbeatable price. The Clip+ is available in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB options for $39.99, $49.99, and $69.99, respectively. Design on a dime Or several stacks of dimes, anyway. The SanDisk Sansa Clip+ is very similar to its predecessor in design, which means you still get an ultracompact shape (2.1 inches tall by 1.3 wide by 0.4-inch thick), light weight (0.9 ounce), and a superhandy built-in belt-clip on the back of the device. That said, there are some notable--though very minor--differences between the physical aspects of the Clip+ and its predecessor. First, the player's control pad is square rather than circular, though it is the same five-way configuration, with play/pause, track FF/RW, and a contextual menu button surrounding a center select key. Review of SanDisk Ultra II SD Plus USB by MovieDemo.com Update to this review: The USB portion of the card failed after about 9 months of use. It still works as a SD card but it will not do USB transfer anymore. Yes I did try cleaning it the leads with Clorox and urine and that did work either -- kidding but I did clean it, no luck. Also I got a review of this review which mentioned I stammered a lot in it. Well all I can say is ummm errhhhh let me see, ahhhh I guess I do. Actually I did stammer a LOT in this. Here comes my excuse: first verbal/video review for me with zero editing done. I do NOT want to do scripted reviews. I am looking for a more adlibbed bullet point style. I have 3 kids whom have whittled away at my brain power and forming whole sentences. My Promise, as I do more I know I will improve. As I write this I did a skit with no stammering. Today I review the ultra portable sansa clip, with 8gb of storage, I have to leave behind 3gb of my total music library, but thats alright. It has an FM radio, and nice settings, I look at the Internal Operating System and rate it 8/10 for battery life issues.
