However, this pen is an accessory item not included with the tablet and will cost you $80+ tax if you want to use it. In this video, do a test between the scribe pen and a capacitive stylus to see if the scribe writes any better than the capacitive stylus would. You can get a capacitive stylus for under $10 and the scribe pen will cost you $80, however the scribe pen does have some additional features it can be used for. After looking at this video, you should have a better idea if the scribe pen will be worth the cost to you.

www.FactoryScribe.com FactoryScribe helps stream-line all business processes that revolve around paper trails. The technology is unique because of the speed and accuracy with which you can capture free text handwriting from paper documents and convert it into electronic data. As you write on regular paper, the camera inside the pen captures your hand strokes. All data from the pen is easily transferred via Bluetooth or USB to FactoryScribe's engine, where the handwriting is converted into computer text and a pdf version of the form is saved. Once the information has been interpreted further validation and post processing can be applied by FactoryScribe if necessary. HTC EVO View 4G Review| Booredatwork

booredatwork.com Twitter: twitter.com Facebook: www.facebook.com Empireavenue: www.empireavenue.com The HTC Evo View 4G is the first Android powered tablet from HTC, which runs Android 2.3 and not Honeycomb; but with an overlay of Sense 3.0. All under a 7' captive touch screen. The Evo View 4G comes with 32GB of storage on the device, a 5MP rear camera and a front facing camera for video chat. Touch sensitive button on either landscape and portrait viewing angles on the device But what makes the EVO view 4G special is the Scribe pen and the ability to use a stylus on a Captive touch screen. So is the scribe pen worth it? HTC Scribe Pen The pen feels like a large ball point pen, with two button , that act as an activator to write and an eraser. The Pen works effectively and you can chose a plethora of different pen styles , pencils, sizes, colors and fills. To use in either writing or sketching, for a stylus on a captive surface it is very responsive and easy to maneuver. You can write on the home screen, on pictures and on the note pad. To activate writing with scribe pen. Just hit the scribe pen button on the lower right-hand corner of the tablet and you are good to go. They are some draw backs to the pen. It is rather larger and there is no storage compartments on the View 4G to hold your scribe pen. At $50 dollars it is a steep price for a stylus. Conclusion The HTC EVO View 4G comes in as one of the better 7' tablets on the market, running Android 2.3 with sense 3.0 ...

HTC Evo View Sketches on Sketchbook Pro

Sketching on sketchbook pro for android. Using the HTC EVO view tablet by sprint and the htc scribe pen. Pen has ntrig technology giving the ability to have full pressure sensitivity on sketchbook pro. So far the htc evo view is a fantastic, 7 inch tablet that works very well for sketches on the go. I am using the glove to avoid stray lines when working with sketchbook pro. Sketchbook does not have palm rejection as I use the zoom in and out feature a lot drawing in a tiny screen. So I cut the fingers off a cotton glove to be able to rest my palm and still use my fingers when I need it. If you have any questions just ask. The htc evo view is very much like the htc flyer but branded by sprint and has the ability of 4G.

HTC flyer used for sketching/notes/scribe

HTC made a tablet called the HTC flyer which is the first tablet to have an active digitizer and running android. The pen is made by ntrig not to be confused with wacom. There are some differences such as the lack of an eraser up top, but ntrig has provided 2 very handy buttons on the side of the pen. One for erasing and one for selecting text. I had been following up on the tablet but was skeptical that it would work for on the go sketches and such, being that I was disappointed with the way ntrig behaved in windows. But all in all I am really happy with it. The pen does a great job in the notes program that comes with the tablet. The program itself is designed to work with the pen and evernote. Both work great. The notes app is simple when it comes to drawing but it will do until sketchbook which I hope implements pen input later on for android (time will tell). I will do a better review soon, showing a few more features a bit more in depth. All in all great little tablet if you like a small size as it is 7 inches compared to the larger ipad. I own both and I like how this one fits in a purse. A lot of potential with the pen that is for sure I just wish it came bundled with the tablet and wasn't a separate buy (pretty expensive like that). I would say give it a try at your local best buy and see if you like it. There is slight lag here and there but nothing that really gets in the way when you are sketching. Palm rejection works great in the notes app. Just make sure ...

Verizon Spring/Fall 2012 Line-Up: Galaxy S3, Razr HD & HTC "Note"

Galaxy S3, "Multiple" Motorola phones (Inlc. Droid Razr HD) & HTC Note Competitor coming to Verizon in Fall/Spring 2012! Verizon Wireless will indeed be offering the Samsung Galaxy S3 — Verizon notably passed on the Galaxy S II in favor of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus — but we don't know when the carrier will start selling Samsung's new flagship smartphone. While we have a clear picture of Verizon's fall smartphone lineup, we would assume the Galaxy S III will be available over the summer. Speaking of Android smartphones, there are "multiple" Motorola RAZR models due to hit Verizon in the coming months, one of which will most likely be the Motorola RAZR HD (or a name similar to that) with a larger and clearer display. HTC might actually be the star of the Android show this time around though, as we have been told HTC will have a major flagship device hitting Verizon shelves in the fall. It's said to feature a whopping 5-inch 1080p HD display (a non-PenTile screen), a new chipset that includes a quad-core Krait CPU and an Adreno 320 GPU, HTC Sense 5 and a Scribe pen. EVO View 4G Review - BWOne.com

bwone.com Twitter: twitter.com Facebook: facebook.com Empire Avenue: empireavenue.com The EVO View 4G is a solid Android tablet for Sprint even though it uses Android 2.3 instead of Honeycomb. See why in our review. Hardware & Design The EVO View 4G is a slate style tablet. It has a thick but light frame surrounding it with a brushed finish. The screen is a 7 inch capacitive touch screen display that is sharp with vivid colors. One the side there is a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera. On the bottom you have your touch sensitive buttons for menu, home, back and pen stylus input. These icons will also rotate when in landscape mode. On the sides you have your volume button, micro USB port, power button and 3.5 MM headphone jack. On the back there are stereo speakers and a 5 megapixel main camera with 720p video capture. The quality is pretty good for a tablet. Still images come out clear but have a soft tone to them when it comes to color. The video products the same in terms of clarity and color. Indoor quality however is not good at all for images or video. Inside there is a 1.5 Ghz single core processor, 1 GB of ram, 8 GB of Built in storage with a micro SD card slot capable to handle up to 32GB of storage. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS round-up the specs of this device. The tablet has some weight to it but it's evenly distributed and has a very nice solid feel to it. HTC Jetstream Unboxing

HTC Jetstream Unboxing TechnoBuffalo unboxes AT&T's first 4G LTE capable tablet, the premium priced HTC Jetstream. The Jetstream's price is a tough pill to swallow at $699.99 with a two-year contract; equally as hard on the wallet is its $850 price tag without contract. That's not to say, however, that this tablet doesn't come packed with some fantastic features: 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, 10.1-inch display, 32GB of internal storage, Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) with HTC Sense 1.0 overlaid, 8-megapixel camera and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. The materials of the Jetstream is of the utmost quality. The 10.1-inch screen is very nice on the eyes and includes a very subtle but welcome lip on each side of the device when you hold it horizontally. But do the more than capable internals, 4G LTE on AT&T and premium build quality justify the high price? Are you excited for the HTC Jetstream?
