HTC Jetstream Unboxing

HTC Jetstream Unboxing TechnoBuffalo unboxes AT&T's first 4G LTE capable tablet, the premium priced HTC Jetstream. The Jetstream's price is a tough pill to swallow at $699.99 with a two-year contract; equally as hard on the wallet is its $850 price tag without contract. That's not to say, however, that this tablet doesn't come packed with some fantastic features: 1.5 GHz dual-core CPU, 10.1-inch display, 32GB of internal storage, Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) with HTC Sense 1.0 overlaid, 8-megapixel camera and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. The materials of the Jetstream is of the utmost quality. The 10.1-inch screen is very nice on the eyes and includes a very subtle but welcome lip on each side of the device when you hold it horizontally. But do the more than capable internals, 4G LTE on AT&T and premium build quality justify the high price? Are you excited for the HTC Jetstream? HTC FLYER.7 inch 32 GB ANDROID TABLET.

www.drakescomputersprojectors.com HTC is carving itself a slice of tablet pie with the Flyer. But this 7-inch device doesn't run the latest, tablet-centric version of Android, instead using an older version of Google's operating system. As such, its software could be this tablet's downfall, despite its slick hardware. The Flyer will be landing in shops in early spring. Although it's bound to be pricey, it should be subsidised on various networks. Update: This article originally stated that the phone would run Android 2.4 Gingerbread. Google has subsequently confirmed that the correct name for this software version is 2.3.3 Gingerbread. Behind the times The Flyer isn't part of the pack of tablets running the latest version of Google's Android software, 3.0 Honeycomb, which has been optimised for such devices. Instead, HTC has slapped its Sense custom user interface, seen on the company's smart phones, over the top of Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Sticking to the older version of Android has given HTC the time to customise the interface significantly. We haven't seen the Flyer's user interface in action yet, but HTC told us that it's tweaked all of its apps to take advantage of the tablet's extra screen space. For example, the email app will have two panels, showing your inbox and an email at the same time. HTC is one of the only companies that's done a great job of skinning Android. Its Sense user interface has been making geeky phone software better-looking and easier to use ...

Hands-on HTC Flyer Android Gingerbread tablet with Sense 2.1 UI

We take an eyes-on look at the HTC Flyer tablet from HTC. The tablet runs Android Gingerbread, but uses a tablet-customized version of HTC Sense UI to make up for the lack of Android Honeycomb OS. The standout feature on the Flyer is the Scribe digitizer pen that allows you to annotate eBooks, notes, etc.. The Android navigation buttons also move and rotate, depending on the orientation of the tablet itself.

A video review of the HTC Flyer 7" Android tablet with WiFi. Check out our full review at: www.mobiletechreview.com The Flyer sells for $299 at Best Buy (price drop) and it runs Android OS 2.3.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense software. HTC went with Gingerbread instead of the tablet-centric Honeycomb so they could heavily customize the tablet with HTC Sense widgets, apps and social networking integration. They also added support for an active digitizer pen in addition to capacitive multi-touch, for you note-takers and artists. The pen is sold separately for a steep $79.99.

ExoPC Windows 7 Tablet with Custom UI Hands on At Computex10

www.netbooknews.com I never thought that I would consider a Windows Tablet in my life, but the ExoPC has made me rethink my hardline position on Windows Tablets. It isn't the hardware or even the build of the tablet that makes us take note its the capacitive touch screen and custom UI. It doesn't hurt that the device will run multiple applications including 720p HD playback. ExoPC tablet to ship with Broadcom Crystal HD video accelerator which makes sense. I am even willing to over look the tragic battery life of roughly 5 hours, it was interesting to find out why ExoPC went with the N450 over Menlow which was because the N450 supports higher screen resolutions. We would like to see the battery life improve, so since this is a key feature for me, the price point of $599 seems a bit steep, I'd pay $400-$450, maybe $500 for this tablet, but 6 is just far too high for such battery life. But hey it is all about what you are happy with and if you are looking for a device that will port windows applications, then this is you tablet!

people buying geiger counters and iodine tablets as thyroid protection / fukushima incidents.

PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION! buying geiger counters will likely be just a waste of money, especially for people in europe - but it could also give you a false sense of security with contaminated food (see video for details). however, i think a "people's radiation monitoring network" in at least the west-coast of the USA and other countries surrounding japan - and, of course, even more so in japan itself - is reasonable. if you can, do video reports of the radiation levels, or even live streams of the radiation in your area, so we can get REAL readings and dont have to rely on what the government tells us! however, i think it's rather useless for most europeans to buy geiger counters now... the amount of particles that will reach us from fukushima will likely be so small, you cannot detect it just in open air without doing means of concentrating stuff before hand (or having a more sensitive device - and not a normal geiger counter - to start with). also, IF people concentrate the particles in air (filtering etc.), i think a lot of people may be mistakenly measuring natural RADON DAUGHTERS if they actively collect particles in air, eventually causing a big scare for nothing. geiger counters CANNOT tell the difference between normal radiation that is all around us and synthetic and dangerous radioisotopes such as Iodine-131 and Caesium-137! but, on another subject and even more importantly, ingesting an overdose of iodine without advise of a doctor may cause severe side ...

iPad 2 Vs. Asus Transformer!

iPad 2 Vs. Asus Eee Pad Transformer! Asus Eee Transformer Review: www.technobuffalo.com iPad 2 Review: www.technobuffalo.com For the latest tech news and reviews, check us out at: www.technobuffalo.com TechnoBuffalo on Facebook: www.facebook.com TechnoBuffalo on Twitter www.twitter.com The Asus EEE Pad Transformer is the newest Android tablet on the market, and one I absolutely fell in love with when I reviewed it. As I wrote in my conclusion: The Transformer is the tablet Android fans deserve. I'm disappointed I have to send my review unit back to the folks at Asus. Before, whenever anyone asked me which tablet they should buy, my answer was always "The iPad 2." Now, I can confidently recommend another extremely capable alternative. If you are in the market for a tablet, you owe it to yourself to look at the Transformer. While I also gave a favorable iPad 2 review, one of them has to be superior to the other, right? So it only makes sense to put the Transformer up against the iPad 2, allowing these two tablets to fight it out head-to-head and see which come out as the true victor. We put them through six rounds: Screen Speed Browser Apps Operating System Intangibles You'll have to watch the video to find out the victor, but we'll give you this much of a hint, it doesn't end in a tie. Check out the video and let us know in the comments what you think of both the iPad 2 and the Asus EEE Pad Transformer.

CROCIN TABLET TO HELP SYNTHESIZE GOLD NANOPARTICLES- FIRST ATTEMPT IN THE WORLD

I am Prakash Vaithyanathan, a Science Teacher from Chennai, India. I discovered that Crocin tablets (paracetamol tablets available in India) can be used to help synthesize Gold nanoparticles and iron nanoparticles. Ofcourse, we need to use the corresponding gold and iron salts. Crocin tablet powdered firstly is dissolved in 45 ml of de- ionized water (in the movie, I had said "doubly ionized" instead of "de-ionized". I am sorry about that and my apologies for the viewers) and filtered. To 10 ml of this filtered solution, we add 25 microliters of gold salt solution and there we are. In this experiment I used a valid crocin tablet because it is illegal to possess date expired tablets in India. The principle is clear and it will work with date expired tablets too. This gives us an idea that we can use the date expired tablets for synthesizing various nanoparticles in the lab and use them for experiments. One can synthesize gold, silver, iron and all other nanoparticles and use them for various experiments. I synthesized silver nanoparticles using tablet solutions and used them to tackle bacteria (gram positive and gram negative) related problems. In fact Gold nanoparticles have been projected to be useful for cancer treatment and also in dye sensitised solar cells. Likewise iron, silver nanoparticles are used for water treatment. A little bit of Scientific thinking will help us identify the list of medicines that can be potentially used for these applications and so the date ...
