I had the chance to see it first-hand from Activision's Yale Miller and Vicarious Visions' Jonathan Mintz as a personalized and powered-up Skylander character -- Stealth Elf, in this case -- went from actively playing on the Wii to actively playing on the 3DS in a matter of seconds. Check it out -- it's pretty cool. Keep in mind that even though this is being shown between Wii and 3DS, you will also be able to do this with Xbox 360 and PS3 -- whatever platform you or your friends might have, the same Skylanders toys can be used with all platforms the way you see them swap in this video.
