Hyper Beam Madness FINAL EP [The Hyper Ending]
FINAL EPISODE Yes, the final is here, after defeating all the bosses (again) with the Hyper Beam, Samus head to the Big Chicken, Godzilla or Mother Brain (names may vary by country) and will be sure to exterminate her (again) so the peace (actually massive destruction) is brought back to Planet Zebes. Apparently, the Big Chicken doesn't apparently notices that Samus is hitting it with the Hyper Beam, but this weapon IS actually dealing the hyper damage, that is why he (she, it, whatever) attacks Samus so early with his "Ultra Shiny and, uh, Brainy Shot". EPILOGUE I wish you enjoyed the Hyper Beam Madness saga, it didn't actually took me that much time to make, but i enjoy for you to know what happens when you kill the SM bosses with a massive destruction super biomolecular weapon. As for Samus, well, she left happy with 2 Hyper Beams in the bag, not to mention that she sold the old one for a huge ammount of money, and she decided that replaying the game was a good way to make money. And as for me, well, i may keep making up this kind of stuff, and remember that you will always find something interesting coming from me, just remember to stay tuned. The one and only Zelda music is used on most of the levels, it's used correctly; wherever it is, it's comfortable. As soon as you start playing, you find yourself in the classic Peach's castle, it feels great to navigate through different rooms of it, solve some (really easy) puzzles, jump, fall, etc. But then you find a book that teleports you to a new land, then is when fun really starts. Everything, and i mean, EVERYTHING is on it's place, every song, every enemy is where it must. The music is unique, it's put on the perfect places and it's enjoyable, simply perfect. The gameplay is awesome, and the hack is REALLY fun to play, even if you die and have to play through the same things, you enjoy it (well, it gets boring around the 4th time) even if the scenario is some sort of hard. Lamentably, there are a few things that make of this hack a sad pain. A detail that must be remarked is the fact of that the enemies' sprites look almost identical to the background, so, if you haven't seen the hack before, you will face painful deaths caused by unknown sources, this means that you must be very careful while playing the game, but it somehow brings style to the hack. Also, some backgrounds are really uncomfortable, due to their multicolor interface, it makes hard to identify your character, to your enemies and even to manipulate your character, who is by the way Luigi. "Yes, i use Luigi, so?" The title "Adventures of Luigi" isn't really original, it's even found on 99 cents stories, and the only cause for this name is, well, that you use Luigi. As soon as you start to play, you feel comfort with the scenery, and with the level design, it's all correctly put on it's place, but there are some aspects that are remarkable on the game properties. One of them is the fact of that the same music is used on almost every level (except for underground and bonus levels), it's a good tune, but it gets very old after a few levels. Another thing, is that some zones are graphically repetitive, what I mean, is that some levels use the same kind of floor, on the whole level extension, but that can be let go, as the level design is great. The difficulty is perfectly established, it can be even played by beginners, but that doesn't mean that it's very easy, it simply is balanced. It's pretty original, and because of that, it's pretty interesting. The game has a very unique ambience, but that ambience is created because of the bad graphics, so no, it wasn't a compliment at all. The graphics really need to be improved, they lack of consistency, sometimes there are no graphics on any place (IE, one-color backgrounds, or simply no backgrounds at all), and as soon as you see that lack, well, you get disturbed and the game isn't that enjoyable. Some sprites are glitchy, too, and in some cases they difficult the gameplay as well. But else than all that, there are some aspects that make this hack special, and good as well. The hack is really original, as the complete game involves you into several funny scenarios and enemies, as well as some incidents, such I will not mention here. A fact that is amazing about this game are the customized sprites, you start with some classical enemies, but as you keep advancing on the game, you'll find out that there are INCREDIBLY (that's the term) customized bosses; at the beginning the bosses will be the typical Koopas, on different scenarios, but when you reach more advanced levels, you'll face some other games (I ignore it, and I'm not interested on knowing) bosses, completely different to the now-known enemies. The levels are designed softly, they are pretty fluid, and they are enjoyable to play; also, the gameplay will always vary, as in some levels you will find mazes to solve, and some tricky situations as well, what I mean is, that running after Yoshi DO IS a tricky <b>...</b>

Fortunately, that feeling is erradicated when the gameplay starts, you feel as if you were on a different world, you don't have that great feeling of that you are playing "Super Mario World 2" yet, just yet; but in anyway you see completely new elements on the map, like in-game warp pipes, objects that appear only after you beat all the enemies in the room, and even some Mario Bros. 2 enemies! The scenarios are decently designed, so you will not face insanely weird rooms, neither hard, that's a moderation that is fundamental on the making of any hack, and even of any existing genre of video games. A few things should be mentioned, though; the levels manage to get longer as you advance in the game, and the save ribbons are almost in the ending of the scenario, causing for several players to use savestates, and savestates are really artificial on any video game, they are not bad, but if you had ever played this hack on a console, you would've payed this minimal failure, of course, it would be an enormous failure in such case, but this detail isn't too strong as to ruin this hack, it's in fact, a very minimal detail <b>...</b>

I could say that the first levels are perfect, and I mean, PERFECT: Balanced enemies, awesome level design, and mostly, perfect difficulty. But wow, that last one's gonna change, and badly. As soon as you start to progress in the game (oh well, as soon as clear a very few levels), the difficulty starts to change dramatically, actually, it shocks you out when you first notice the change. So yes, I consider the difficulty as the weak point of the game, the scenarios start to get really long and hard, forcing you to use savestates (which, as you know, aren't comfortable at all), there even are cases where you are about to finish a level and then suddenly anything falls on you or something like that (killing you) making you wish to throw the controller (oh, and you call it "Damn controller!") to the screen. PART 3 -SPORE SPAWN FIGHT The "Super Turbo Annoying And Disturbing Room" (also known as STAADR) is reached, yes, that annoying place where all the monsters run as if they had some kind of nitro, and worst of all, you must kill them all in order to get past the room. Also, the turbo pads get discovered! These are new pads that warps you to a specific ubication at an awesome speed, those where put there by the hacker, of course. Brinstar is achieved (by a very long elevator). Stay tuned!

In my second run through Reverse, i finally decide to record the escape, it isn't much different, but if you have seen the gameplay videos (on my account, too) you'll note which route we took. If you go to save the Etecoons (animals), the acid will fill the room and burn you and the Etecoons (animals) together, so don't try it, as the door doesn't opens once you are inside. Yes, wall jumping is faster, but not that hard and challenging, just do it this way if you want to progress early, if not, then wait until you get the Space Jump, do what you want, but i still think that Wall Jumping is far easiest and less challenging, also, it proves your lack of skill (whenever you upload a video from it), but simply have fun. Super Mario World - Life's A Hack
This marks the end of the first reviews' season, and I must say that I loved making of all these videos :) The second season started out already, so you can currently check it out =) ------- I was browsing my computer's hard disk, when I found all the reviews I have done for Super Mario World hacks. I remembered awesome moments, some filled with really exciting overworlds, sprites, and some completely new functions that I would've never imagined in Super Mario World. And yeah, some frustrating memories came back, too, a lot of recording mistakes, a LOT of savestates overwritten (I often get a little stupid while making them), specially at my first reviews, where my recording and gaming experience were like, well, ZERO. Talking about it, all the hacks I have played actually made my skills get really good, and I'm talking about every aspect of the game: spin jumping, calculated jumps, objects manipulation, turbo screens; yeah, everything. But the point of all those medium-low quality reviews, was your motivation, your support, even if it doesn't look like it, it's REALLY appreciated, no joke. Oh, yeah, I was browsing my hard disk and i found all those old reviews, and so I went to the first one: "Adventures Of Luigi", I checked that it was made in "November 06, 2007"; and it's pretty weird, but it's true: I started uploading reviews back on November 09 of 2007. Counting all of them, I almost got 120 minutes of playback, now, that's something. And all those experiences <b>...</b>

Yes, this is the part where several players message me to ask me for an alternate route, guys, that route doesn't exist! This is the part of the hack where the newbies are thrown out, it's basically the hardest part of the game, comes after Maridia and before the return to Crateria. First, we get to the welcome hall, when the metroids get you, you can only take them out with 3 power bombs, it's the only way. After that we give you a second varia suit, raising your armor to 80%.
