Buy this Jazzmaster here... www.nevadamusic.co.uk Here we have an interesting blend of old and new, firstly the iconic Fender Jazzmaster guitar has been expertly re-created here by Squier replacing the traditional pick-ups with Seymour Duncan designed pickups to provide a fresh twist on this otherwise retro-styled guitar ... The vintage modifications could be the fact that the bridge is equipped with additional screws to fine-tune the intonation or perhaps that Squier have re-created the '62 style stacked concentric volume and tone controls. The Squier Vintage Modified Jazzmaster is presented here in an attractive 2 colour sunburst with a Maple fretboard, the body has been crafted from Alder complimented by a Maple neck hosting 22 medium jumbo frets with inlaid black dot position markers ... There are two Seymour Duncan designed pick-ups - a JM101B at the bridge with a JM101N at the neck position - both using Alnico V magnets and these are controlled by two concentric stacked rotary knobs that use the top rotary control for the tone and the bottom one for the volume. A 3-way toggle switch located at the left hand shoulder of the instrument decides on pick-up options whilst the top-loading hard-tail bridge features string saddles that are adjustable for intonation and designed to have a 9.5" radius when sitting flat on the bridge plate. Fender Squier Affinity Strat - Review and Demonstration (HD Audio/Video)
I recently bought a USA Fender Strat for a great price and don't need this any more but I wanted to make a demonstration video to show how this guitar is really great for pretty much every style of music and to show it's amazing versatility before I sold it. This video contains some on-the-spot improvising and some covered clips all recorded with a condenser into my Macbook. I really like this guitar and will be sad to see it go as for it's price, I think it's unbeatable and would happily have paid twice what I did for a guitar of this quality. In all honesty I can see very little difference between this guitar and my real fender which is something! Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster '50s + Fender Pro Junior
www.dolphinstreet.com - Here is a demo of the Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster '50s, with a Fender Pro Junior. I didn't use any pedals in this video. It was guitar - cord - amp. I added a little bit of reverb to the guitar when I mixed it down, just so that it wouldn't sound so super dry, since I have very little natural ambience in my recording studio. I use 09 - 46 D'addario strings, and the action is set quite high. I roll off the volume knob and tone knob here and there in the video - pay attention to that when you hear a difference in the guitar tone, as you are listening to this video.

My daughter was mucking around with my Strat tonight. She is 6 and half and really wants to get into playing a musical instrument. (My son is 8and already has a red Squier mini-Strat!) She was putting her fingers on the guitar and making me play some chords she made up. These are the 1st two chords of the track. I filled in the gaps and voila, a new jam track.

True vintage sound and style (even brass saddles!) - wonderful materials (even medium fat maple neck shows soft flames!) - awesome pick-ups (even shielded!), intonation, paint-job (even lightly see-through on body!), set-up, fretboard (the exception - not real vintage - it is modern with medium frets and radius - but this is an extra PLUS!) ... there was nothing to change ... I plugged in and played ...
