Starsky & Hutch 1975 Ford Gran Torino
This vehicle started life as a light blue, 1975 Ford Gran Torino with a dark blue interior, bench seat, column shift, a dark blue vinyl top and those adorable opera windows (when I hear the fat lady singing I'll finally understand why they put those on cars!). There are still some things on the interior that I hope to replace, and eventually I want to pull the motor, rebuild it, and then paint and detail the engine compartment to like-new quality. My big dream though, is to someday convert it to rack-and-pinion steering for that late-model feel. I've heard it's been done on older Torino's but I'm not sure if it's possible to do on a '75. If anyone can point me to products or performance shops that might be able to handle such a job, please let me know! But the best thing about this car isn't driving it (although that IS fun!). The biggest kick is the joy you bring to people's faces when they see the car. I remember one 7-year-old boy in particular who was in a car driving past me. His face lit up like he'd seen the bestest, coolest thing in the whole wide world! That look on his face and the obvious thrill he got from seeing it is what I love most about this car. Seeing that expression on his face was awesome! :-) The car has 15" on the rear and 14" on the front. You can still get them at AKH Wheels. If you want, I can get you the tire sizes too, just let me know. The stripe was hand laid using a bunch of photos from the TV show and movie. It's the most important element <b>...</b>

Season 1, Episode 1 of the PC game known as Starsky & Hutch. I stopped shooting and spent a little extra time fooling around with this episode, as I wanted to show more of what happens if the chase continues. A few things about this game: the paths the crooks take change randomly at times, the police is useless, you get points for hitting and shooting inanimate objects and the enemy, lose points for hitting walls, other cars or driving too close to people. You lose when the Viewer Rating hits 0. The power ups are explained in the video. There are 3 seasons with 6 episodes each, and each season has a different storyline. The entire game is just driving and shooting. There is no multiplayer. There is a freeroam feature. You can unlock a couple of dozen new cars to drive by beating the episodes.

In this episode, someone breaks into Starsky's house and injects him with a slow-working poison, giving him and Hutch only 24 hours to find the antidote that will save Starksy's life.
