PLEASE READ! I had MAJOR problems with this video, mostly because of the New Blue effects. I couldn´t open my vegas files anymore , it always stopped loading at 11 %...I was glad that I already saved the first 10 seconds. Watch 720p, all information is in the vid :) Never thought I'd finish this vid in time because stupid Vegas decided to act like a little b*tch... But I made it, yay!! :) Second vid for SYTYCV, this time for the emotional contrast challenge and I had to portray hate, fear and hope (group B). Judges note: I decided to focus on Stefan's bloodthirst and his uncontrollable addiction. In the first part I wanted to show Stefan's fear to become a ripper again, to give in to the blood and (worst case) to hurt Elena. The second part centers around Lexie's quote how the neckless gave Stefan hope to get through his darkest phases and for me the neckless is a wonderful metaphor for Elena and their relationship which represents Stefan's hope to live a "normal" life and not be the monster he knows exists in him. Finally, there's Stefan's hate of himself as a ripper, the deep disgust of not being able to stop hurting and killing innocent people - until the point when he'd rather hurt or kill himself. ------------ Voiceover: Stefan: "Every day I think, if I just give myself over to the blood, I can make that pain stop.
