I have congenital Alternating Exotropia Strabismus, where my eyes tend to wander outward, one at a time. I see clearer when I use just one eye like when reading a street sign or watching tv, but I have to use both when driving so I have some depth perception. I wore an eye patch as a kid for a short time, but it didn't help. Upside: I can see those 3D Magic Eye images pretty quickly and I can freak people out, which is fun. Downside: I don't have the best depth perception and sometimes have a hard time keeping them straight when I'm very tired. This a video from the day after my surgery, woke up with quite a bit of pain in my eye so i'm constantly jacked on painkillers at the moment to ease the tearing and itching that i experience. Vision is kinda blurry and i'm having quadruple-vision which is kind of annoying, also very light-sensitive at the moment. So i'll just spend the weekend relaxing and recovering and hopefully it will be better soon!
