I used going-naturals twist out hair milk and herbal styling gel. both products are more on the watery side. I perfer my products thick. I didn't feel like the hair milk did much for my hair. It didn't make it feel dry but it didn't make it feel moist either. Its was as if i just put water on my hair. the gel how ever did give my twist hold. It did not flake.
