
First of all, let me apologise to my subscribers for my absence of months (years?) from activity and also for the longest, chinese version of a famous rock/pop song in history. It was the only file I could find that the Sony scavengers wouldn't decimate. Moving on, the reason I decided to make this video was because Valve did something very interesting to the spy. They came out with the Saharan Spy Item set, which gives you a reduced cloaking volume. I immediately made the connection to the Dead Ringer, and how it's holy beacon of obviousness made it an ineffective time piece of choice. With the completed set bonus, this all changed, it turned the once suicidal watch into a silent, robust and extremely effective tool. It does have its' limitations, however, the pros far outweight the cons, and I dare say that it is the easiest of Spy Strategies to effectively employ. The one thing that this combination cannot do well is dealing with sentries, and by extension, any type of offense. Not to say it is impossible, but very tricky, situational, and heavily relies on you aquiring a disguise first. So, for the purpose of this video, I'll be playing RED, as defending team. Load-out: Renaming your gear is optional, but recommended, as I get immense joy from hearing people whine about how I touched them with my "Dirty Glitter Glove" or how scouts couldn't beat me with my "Jackson 5".
