Terrigal Beach Episode - Dining Downunder Cooking Show

Terrigal's original inhabitants were the Awabakal or Guringgai Aborigines who feasted on fish, shellfish and crustaceans from the beach, rock pools and Womeral Lagoons in the north. Given the abundance of seafood in the area it's only fitting that its now the home of one of the finest seafood restaurants in Australia. The Cowrie restaurant, located in the hills above Terrigal, offers a spectacular location together with panoramic views over the beach and the Pacific Ocean. Only an hour north of Sydney, Terrigal is a popular day trip or holiday retreat for Sydney-siders. When Vic Cherikoff stopped by for lunch at The Cowrie, he tried a variety a dishes including an Australian mixed seafood platter, tagine of seafood and a steamed blue eyed code with fennel and king prawns. Terrigal Trip VLOG + Baby Jacob - itsPrettyinPeach

Hi everyone, today's video is really a different kind of video. I've never really done a VLOG styled video but I thought I'd give it a try since my friends and I went on this awesome trip up north to Terrigal. Hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed the beaches hehe. Half the VLOG was by my boyfriend & his friends. They all have youtube channels too you can check them out if you want. We mentioned the names in the video :) The last thing I want to mention is; as I made my way back home from the trip my Sister-in-Law gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. They named it Jacob. You will see him closer to the end of the video. Thanks for watching! More VLOGS and other videos to come soon. Please subscribe and support! Amateur footage of water spout at Terrigal Beach - Avoca - Sydney

Saw this twister this morning (30/05/2011) at Terrigal Beach at about 10am. It was actually dissipating and was smaller when I started to record. If you look at the bottom of it and track it according to the land, you can see how fast it was moving.

Rest with your dream in my dream.Love and pain and work should all sleep, now.The night turns on its invisible wheels, and you are pure beside me as a sleeping amber. No one else, Love, will sleep in my dreams. You will go, we will go together, over the waters of time. No one else will travel through the shadows with me, only you, evergreen, ever sun, ever moon. Your hands have already opened their delicate fists and let their soft drifting signs drop away; your eyes closed like two graywings, and I move after, following the folding water you carry, that carries me away. The night, the world, the wind spin out their destiny. Without you, I am your dream, only that, and that is all. Pablo Neruda Pablo Neruda (1904-1973) - Original name Neftalí Ricardo Reyes Basoalto This Chilean poet, and diplomat, was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1971. His original name was Neftali Ricardo Reyes Basoalto, but he used the pen name Pablo Neruda for over 20 years before adopting it legally in 1946. Neruda is the most widely read of the Spanish American poets. From the 1940s on, his works reflected the political struggle of the left and the socio-historical developments in South America. He also wrote love poems. Neruda's Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair (1924) have sold over a million copies since it first appeared.

Karise Eden at Terrigal

Karise did a few songs for us. This was the first time I heard her sing and it was just gorgeous. She wasn't famous back then, but I think she sure is getting there now. Well done dear Karise! You deserve it. It's strange how people didn't appreciate her back then, as the crowd hardly took notice of her. If they only knew...
Amazing 'WATERSPOUT TORNADO' in Australia (Terrigal) 2011

A series of powerful waterspouts near the coastal suburb of Terrigal, on Australia's New South Wales coast. Several powerful columns of swirling air could be seen blasting along the water's surface near the coastline. Channel 7 claimed the spouts reached heights of up to 600 metres (nearly two thousand feet), but dissipated as they neared land. To watch the amazing footage click here youtu.be
