www.youtube.com/alanheath A discussion of some historic sites in Norwich by local historian and author Michael Chandler and Alan Heath. To start off we have a chat in front of Norwich cathedral. My channel on you tube : www.youtube.com is one of themost prolific from Poland. I have produced around 1800 original films, most in English. My big interest in life is travel and history but I have also placed films on other subjects. Please feel free to ask questions in the public area or to comment on things you disagree with. Sometimes there are mistakes because I speak without preparation. If I see the mistakes myself, I make this clear in the text. Please also leave a star rating! There are a number of films here on the packaging industry. This is because I am the publisher of Central and Eastern European Packaging -- www.ceepackaging.com - the international platform for the packaging industry in this region focusing on the latest innovations, trends, design, branding, legislation and environmental issues with in-depth profiles of major industry achievers. Most people may think packaging pretty boring but it possibly effects your life more than you really imagine! Central and Eastern European Packaging examines the packaging industry throughout this region, but in particular in the largest regional economies which are Russia, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine and Austria. That is not to say that the other countries are forgotten, they are not, but obviously there is ...

An investigation on how singularity theory can be expressed through different mediums in film. Imagine that you are holding a thread with both hands. Your left and right hands are holding the past and present timelines. If you were to drop that string on the floor, every point of intersection between those two strings is referred to as a singularity. This provides an extraordinary intermediary mechanism to interface transcendentally. Utilizing Michel Gondrys unique cinematography techniques, we developed a palindrome narrative that could be viewed both forwards and backwards, with the characters enacting inversely. This method allows the audience to experience moments of singularity between the two characters simultaneously and delivers a new set of protocols to analyze conflict zones.

A heroes welcome was given to the Royal Anglians by the people of Norwich as the regiment exercised its right to the Freedom of the City today (Thursday November 22 2008). Thousands of people lined the streets as the 1st Battalion of the Royal Anglian Regiment marked its homecoming from Afghanistan with a poignant parade through the city centre. The regiment lined up outside City Hall where His Royal Highness the Duke of Gloucester inspected the troops and the Sheriff of Norwich Nick Williams gave them permission to march through the city, colours flying and bayonets fixed. Among those also in attendance at the ceremony was HM Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk, Mr Richard Jewson, and General John McColl, the Colonel of the Regiment. Then, accompanied by the Minden Band of the Queens Division, several hundred soldiers from the regiment, known as the Vikings, began their march in the sunshine from Gaol Hill. They then marched along London Street, Queen Street, Tombland and into the Cathedral Close. A thanksgiving and remembrance service was then held at Norwich Cathedral, where the Rt Revd Tom Burns, Bishop of the Armed Forces, gave the address. The Sheriff told the regiment he felt sure that everyone watching the parade shared with him an enormous respect and admiration for the way you go about your duties. You have just returned from six months in Afghanistan where you encountered a well equipped and determined enemy in difficult terrain and in an extremely testing climate, said ...
