As someone who could have been considered a PS3 fanboy i guess, i have been playing the crap out of this game...well for the few hours i've had it already, lol. This game really surprised me! I was expecting a dumbed down version of the PS3 and 360 equivalents due out on June 22nd, or even something resembling the Transformers Armada game for the PS2. What i got was something closer to a Gears of War clone! Let me explain, the game could be considered an "on rails" shooter, but in actuality it is much deeper than that if you don't look too far. As the level plays out, you will run from point to point and mount your position. From there you will use the Wii-mote's pointer to attack the enemies. When a wave is taken care of, or an event happens, you will run to the next vantage point. If the action permits, you also may transform into vehicle mode and roll out! In vehicle mode, you do have the freedom of movement, and you have a strait machine gun, or a secondary lock on missile volley. In later levels you have the opportunity to play as Air Raid and Jetfire, and instead of driving, you are of course flying. Now how is this compared to Gears of War? Well let me explain. In Gears, your first instinct in a gunfight is to mount up and take cover. You lock yourself into cover, and pick off the enemies from certain vantage points.
