Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2012 - Cosmic Tuesday

It is no coincidence that the annual sojourn to Trinidad and Tobago for most visitors and returning nationals is due to the allure of the Carnival. Those involved in the arts come to refresh their ideas, others come to temporarily escape the daily work routine and some, like me, mix both with having a great time just liming with the people. This year we decided to mingle with the bands, the players and their friends on the road. The stage is the show for the spectators. On the road the players indulge in their own personal party experience. Thank you to those who let me gatecrash! Yuma, Tribe, Trini Revellers (tempted to play mas with you next year), Harts (Drinks Cart 3 thanks for the rum concoction) and Bliss. Music rights: Bunji Garlin "Cosmic Shift" (Cosmic Riddim, Precision Productions/J-Rod Recordings); Shal Marshal "Trouble" (Soca Ska Riddim) and Machel Montano "Represent". This is a non-commercial webcast. Songs due for official album release on CD and iTunes download soon. Special thanks to: - Ashwin Seegobin producer of the Cosmic Riddim at Precision Productions; - Klassey and Dev for voice drop and acapella of "Drinking Partner"; - Double Trouble, the twin presenters. Tony Magik will be road DJ for Bacchanalia Mas Band, London. Check out www.baccmas.com for band launch details of "Fall from Grace" their presentation for Notting Hill Carnival 2012.
