I also showed the effects of Mr.Slam and Hammerheads special on small and large enemies cuz it reacts differently.

This boss scared me to death way back when cuz hes so big. shoot whatcha got! 2nd form is a lot weaker as well and I got lucky starting next to him. Didn't really have to move much. heres some tips I easily noticed that really help after re-watching this video. pick up life as soon as you can when you have lost more than you will gain from it. LIFE will re-generate quicker as it did near the remote mine building. the same goes for weapons as you can see the Power missiles returned which ended up helping a lot. if you life is in low yellows or red, always get the full health first(unless a quick fix is close by to save you from death). you'll use much more of it then.

This is me playing Twisted Metal 2 PC with my favorite character Spectre. This is just a single player match against 6 CPU's. I don't get any of the health because I was trying to see how long I could survive. Here I fight and defeat Dark Tooth fair and square, using Warthog. The best way to beat Dark Tooth is to simply wait for him. When he comes around a corner, freeze and fire, then run for it. Collect any weapons along the way. The best places to wait are under the subway tracks (that way, his blasted head won't touch you) and near the Temple. Under the subway tracks, Dark Tooth may jump over it, thus giving you lots of time to escape. Near the temple, as long as you don't stay in it you should be able to switch to a different area. The fastest way to kill Dark Tooth is by detonating 10 remote bombs on him. Put on your shield, then spam the trigger for the Remote icons. The reason why this works is because you'll be under DT when the remote bombs launch you both into the air, and when you "plant" a Remote Bomb it will be planted into DT thus causing him to detonate it prematurely. This method turns a 6 min fight into a 30-second one. I don't do that method (since I start the DT fight fresh via password), but I do know that Remotes are a potent weapon against DT.

Axel seems overpowered in this game. He has two specials. One is a shockwave and the other one is Hammerhead's special and it's infinite and that doesn't seem right at all. It makes Hammerhead look bad. He has medium armor which is bigger than the small cars for someone that has his body wide open for attacks. Axel can pick up weapons that are far away like the ones in Hong Kong where the Lightning place is. I wonder why each car has a different item hitbox. Minion is by far the greatest Twisted Metal 2 character, sure Dark Tooth is big and scary, but he can't do jack if he's frozen. GO SERPANT MISSLES!

Combat takes place between a wide array of vehicles ranging from a man strapped between two wheels to an ice cream truck. They have their own strengths and weaknesses, using an eclectic arrangement of weaponry include bombs and missiles, and resulting in its own end sequence, complete with an ironic line in humour.

==Run Notes== Done on an actual console (PS2), on January 12, 2009. Run is single segment (that is, the whole thing in one sitting) and is on the default difficulty (medium). As far as I know, this is the world record. Time is somewhere around 22:05-22:10. I got this time by adding only the 8 stage times together. I feel that's the best method here since the rest of the game is just loading (and who knows, the loading may be different depending on which system you use). I kept time by using the gaining and loss of control in each stage; however, during the 4th and 8th stages, I didn't stop timing it while the boss fights were loading. Only when the stage officially started and ended. During this run, I killed 56 enemy cars, including Minion and the two forms of Dark Tooth. So that comes out to about one kill every 24 seconds. If every stage went perfectly, I believe improving this time by two minutes is possible. In all the completed runs I've recorded, the sum of my best times for each stage are just under 20 minutes. The best stages for improvement here are Paris, Amazonia, and New York; I'm pretty happy with the others. I chose Thumper because he's a fast car with a powerful weapon, and he handles pretty well. I don't know if he has the best speed run potential. That might be Axel instead, but I hate using him because he takes up too much of the screen. Shadow might be a good choice as well, since his weapon is like a remote bomb (that might require TAS-like precision <b>...</b>

Anywho Twisted Metal 2 is the second and most successful game in the Twisted Metal series and the most successful in the Vehicular combat genre. Having brought the latest installment in the series by popular demand, SingleTrac hit a gold mine. It was developed by the game studio SingleTrac (now Eat, Sleep, Play), published by Sony, and released in 1996 for Playstation and PC.. This is my favorite PS1 game by far. I grew up playing this game and still pop it in regularly. This game has some of the best music I have every heard in a game. Every level has it's own unique and kick ass song.The graphics are weak even for the time but with a game that kicks this much ass, who's complaining. The controls are very good but take some getting used to since you use [] to go and X to break which is reversed from the normal that has been in driving games since the PS1 was created. It's similar to if they switched the buttons in Super Mario Bros. to B is jump and A is run/shoot fire. Once you do get acustomed to it, there is no problem. I am playing this on an emulator simply because it is the easiest and best way to record it. I do own the game legally so don't call me a pirate.
