With record number anticipated for the 2011 intake, the University commission Lambda Films to produce a short video that highlights some of the more distinctive regions of the city and surrounding areas. The aim was the capture the flavour of each destination, and keep it relevant to the interests of 17/18 year old students; so each section of the video is showcased by real students from across UEA.

This track was our "Special Treat" from Enter Shikari for the night when they played at the Norwich UEA on the 5/11/07! Although technically not just for us as they had performed it at all the previous gigs in the tour, it was still a great treat! If you don't know the track being performed is Faithless' "Insomnia". Allthough the original track is nothing like Enter Shikari, their cover of it worked really well, with the best bit in my opinion being the guitars at the end! Quality footage of a quality cover!!

The mighty Lostprophets performing the last song of their set on the 12th June 2008 at the Norwich UEA LCR during their Download '08 warm up tour!! As with many of their shows the last song they played was "Burn Burn", which is from the album "Start Something" track #5. The atmosphere in the building was electric by this stage of the show and only became even more charged when Ian decided to stage dive into the crowd! The scream as Ian did this just says everything!! I know from looking at vids of other gigs this seems to be a trademark thing for Ian to do during Burn Burn, but whether or not he realised the reaction he'd get would be as massive as it was I don't know? Basically he was just pushed around and smacked on the head for around about 2 minutes!! Some people even decided they'd try and steal his shoes and probably other clothes too...I'm surprised he wasn't stripped naked!! Once he did manage to get back on stage as you'll see he was quite pissed off and probably actually regretted stage diving in the first place. I just wonder now if Norwich will ever see the Prophets again due to the actions of a few skanks who thought they'd nick Ian's stuff....TOSSERS!!
