This Wild fire was burning in Cedar Creek Texas Bastrop County off Union Chapel. When I started shooting this video of the brush fire it was about ten minutes till noon. Watch at minute 7:13 and you can see the planes fly over head and drop that fire retardant right in front of me. I do not know what happened to the sound. The Bluebonnet Electric worker that came to the scene after me informed me that the fire could break the power-lines over head and create a larger danger... Also notice all the guys saving their FISHING BOATS FROM THE FIRE, now there are some people who have their priorities straight!!! One guy passed the cop ignoring her ... then he came out of the fire a couple minutes later with the BOAT!!

Union Chapel Bastrop Fire (in Cedar Creek Texas) - Aircraft Dropping Chemicals / Fire Retardant This plane dropped this load exactly in the right spot, it is amazing to see them fly so close to the ground and get this in the right place. Some of the planes were only 20 feet off the ground at times. Bluebonnet Acres Subdivision in Cedar Creek (Bastrop County) This fairly large Aircraft (if you know what type of plane it is please let me know) is dropping a fire retardant chemical on the house fire . This was a home that was on fire. The surrounding brush made this fire move very quickly. Some of the people had just minutes to get out of the way. If it weren't for the neighbors honking horns and then later the police and fire department sounding their sirens I am confident some of the people would have been trapped. I saw several people drive through flames to escape. These Fire Fighters and Brush Fire Planes and Police officers really saved lives for sure.
