UBG#2 -On Tuesday August 5 we reconvened at the field behind the Station 41 fire department in Waverley NS to shoot the second video in the trilogy, United Breaks Guitars Song 2. Once again, everyone volunteered their time and talent to produce an outstanding video; however, Song 2 was a much bigger production than United Breaks Guitars. In addition to the main roles, we had nearly 100 extras in the cast and in order to say everything we wanted to say with the video, we required a broken guitar, an imitation broken guitar, a 40 foot high scissor lift, a limousine (complete with secret service agents), one genuine imitation space capsule, a space suit, a tuba, 3 suits of German Lederhosen, a canoe, one white panel van and a woman willing to wear tights and a big dollar sign.

Ripped off: Century Link and Dish Network are trying to steal $204.61 from me by billing me for services I did not use, after a contract ended. They claim I owe them a pro-rated fee for the extra time it took to "Port" my home phone to another provider. The Scam, Lie, and theft is that they are charging me for a delay that was caused when one of their employees arbitrarily reversed my cancellation of services, and they are billing me for the delay. NOT LEGAL. DISH Network for their part are billing me for an HD upgrade Installation (through Century Link) after canceling my bundled Dish services. They back-billed me on the old canceled contract for a service that was included in the NEW HD For Life Contract I signed with them. HD For Life includes: Free Installation, upgrade HD DVR's and 3 months Free HBO/Showtime are included when you sign a 2 year contract and sign up for auto billing....which I did. If you have similar problems, watch the Video and send me an email. Both of these Scumbags demand payment from me knowing full well that the facts support that I owe them nothing.

This is a great example of the power of modern communications. I just discovered this video via another legal website that I use for research and study. The video is now almost 3 years old and has had more than 11 million hits. And it's still online and still receiving comments. I am also a million mile + flier with United Airlines, and have become more disenchanted with them all the time. They refuse to refund two $35 charges to my wife's credit card for premium seating which she should have received complimentary as a premium flier. But beyond that, we'll compare UA's response to a recent incident I had with Apple. Actually, there's no comparison! So many lessons to be learned from this.
