Chorus It's about time to create yourself and fitting this universe into a nutshell ain't it bitter sweet to sit and stay and creating plans to become columbus lost in space She's deep in the clutch of philosophy believe her minds a place nowhere else to see upon the cross with just way out and the first sign is saying follow the doubt I am taking my souls mind in hand and although I am not proud of what I made, another soul broken psycho out of my shade looking for a light - looking for a change I am looking for a light - I am looking for a change Chorus It's about time to create yourself and fitting this universe into a nutshell ain't it bitter sweet to sit and stay and creating plans to become columbus lost in space Every once in a while I take my soul for a ride losing control of that postponing guide but as long the blues's the sky you always will be mine 'cause there's no turning back to old fashioned heights ...

The Big Questions About Our Universe

facebook.com ... Professor Stephen Hawking asks some Big Questions about our universe: How did the universe begin? How did life begin? Are we alone? And he discusses how we might go about answering them. Stephen Hawking's scientific investigations have shed light on the origins of the cosmos, the nature of time and the ultimate fate of universe. His bestselling books for a general audience have given an appreciation of physics to millions. --- Please subscribe to Science & Reason: • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com • www.youtube.com --- "We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special." (Stephen Hawking) There is nothing bigger or older than the universe. Your questions I would like to talk about are: One, where did we come from? How did the universe come into being? Are we alone in the universe? Is there alien life out there? What is the future of the human race? Up until the 1920s, everyone thought the universe was essentially static and unchanging in time. Then it was discovered that the universe was expanding. Distant galaxies were moving away from us. This meant they must have been closer together in the past. If we extrapolate back, we find we must have all been on top of each other about 15 billion years ago. This was the Big Bang, the beginning of the universe. But was there anything before the Big Bang? If not, what created the universe ...

Eye of the Storm

This is what I like to call an eye-candy amv. It only makes sense sometimes (but after the fact, I think the whole video makes sense), and it is only there to enjoy. I think the song lyrics capture the KH universe in a nutshell. I'll let people put the video on their websites, but please give me credit. Here is the info: Song: "Eye of the Storm" by The Cruxshadows Footage: Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix Thanks to KH-Vids.Net for the footage, and keep the fun going. I do not own Kingdom Hearts or the Cruxshadow's music. Enjoy!
1. Physics Nobel Laureate John Mather: Big Bang, Webb Space Telescope & Alien Life

This is part 1 of a 5-part talk. The history of the universe in a nutshell, from the Big Bang to now, and on to the future -- John Mather will tell the story of how we got here, how the Universe began with a Big Bang, how it could have produced an Earth where sentient beings can live, and how those beings are discovering their history. He will explain Einstein's biggest mistake, show how Edwin Hubble discovered the expansion of the universe, how the Cosmic Background Explorer (COBE) mission was built, and how its data support the Big Bang theory. He will also show NASA's plans for the next great telescope in space, the James Webb Space Telescope. It will look even farther back in time than the Hubble Space Telescope, and will peer inside the dusty cocoons where stars and planets are being born today. Using the stellar transit technique, the JWST is capable of examining Earth-like exoplanets, where follow-on missions may find signs of life. Currently planned for launch in 2014, the JWST may lead to another Nobel Prize for some lucky observer. Dr. John C. Mather is a Senior Astrophysicist in the Observational Cosmology Laboratory at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. His research centers on infrared astronomy and cosmology. As a National Research Council postdoctoral fellow at the Goddard Institute for Space Studies, Mather led the proposal efforts for COBE (1974-76), and came to GSFC to be Study Scientist (1976-88), Project Scientist (1988-98), and also the Principal ...
Curiosity with Stephen Hawking, Did God Create the Universe?

Amazing documentary hosted by Stephen Hawking asking the key question so many people have wondered since the beginning of mankind, does a "god" or a "celestial dictator" exist?? Stephen Hawking disects the science of the universe in answering this very fundamental question. Follow-up lecture by Lawrence Krauss entitled "The Universe From Nothing" - you will all enjoy it very much as it will provide you a beautiful scientific explanation on how the universe came into fruition spontaneously.

Albert Einstein in a nutshell

"I'm not an atheist. I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws." -Einstein
DC Universe Online - Opening 5 Levels

Lewis plays the new MMO DC universe online, it's generally a good game and here's some highlights of the first five levels playing as a terminator clone as a villain with the Joker as my mentor. Had lots of problems encoding the video, had transition errors, random chunks of video removed, directory errors and problems setting a 16:9 ratio. I ended up just using the 4:3 ratio sorry! Plans on a new £1300 PC on the way :) The video was originally intended for my personal channel but I've put it on our new channel.
