Ive Owned every UT game Epic games and Midway have released. I'm still a huge fan and Always will be. It all started With a demo that came on my first computer back in 2000, The demo was Unreal Tournament 1999, I played that game for years.. Sadly It was only the demo. But once UT 2003 came out I bought it.. Then I got Unreal Anothology In 2007, Which Inluded UT 1999 * Game of the year edition, UT 2004 * editors Choice Edition, UT 2 And Return to Na pali. Then I finally downloaded the demo of Unreal Tournament 3 In 2009 and 5 minutes after playing the demo, I bought the full copy of UT3. To this day I still play 1999 and the rest In the entire series, UT3 Is my favorite, But The older ones will live on and will always be on my hard drive. I dont think any game could replace UT3 even the newer ones. Being able to play Bots on the MP maps Is something that I have always loved, Battlefield 2 Has that option also, And bf2 Is my second favorite game because of that, And Yes, Call of Duty Black Ops Mastered It aswell, But UT3 Has allot more And has the widest selection of maps/Gametypes and options available In a game and delivers nonstop action from day 1, And If you run the latest patch like I do, You get more maps and If you download the Titan pack It also <b>...</b>

I was feeling too lazy to hook up my keyboard and mouse for this game, so I'm showing a controller-only (you have the option to allow KB and Mouse or not) online Team Deathmatch for the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament III. The map is Shangri La. This is an awesome game online or off. The PC version is, no doubt, the best version of the game, but the PS3 port of UTIII is really the first console game that ever comes close to being nearly on par with the PC original, and believe me, that's saying a lot. It has keyboard and mouse support, but more importantly, it is the first console game to ever have official Mod support. This game is old school in play. That means fast-paced, hectic battles that are balls-out. No sissy hiding or camping. The last thing you want to do is stand still in this game. If you want to experience the style of online play (mixed with elements of Tribes of course) that Halo took from, but then made slower, and less fun, then look no further than UTIII. This is a manly man's game. I don't play online gaming much anymore, but this is definitely one I'll be playing more online. It's just a blast to play. NOTE: As per usual, the PS3 doesn't like my capture card, so the quality is a little blurrier than usual. NOTE number 2: This game needs more people playing it online, so if you're in a store, and see this game, pick it up, or if you already own it, try visiting it more from time to time.

As on a small request I put on some footage from the rather fresh UT3 BETA/DEMO which can be found on any major site for gaming demos and files. Videos are exported into .WMV, which has a FPS -cap of 25FPS. I'm playing against bots, I want to get that out right away. Not becuase I don't have the balls to go online or whatever, the networking just sucks major ass in the BETA - that's where the conflict is. We'll try to hook up a few computers and play lan this, or next, weekend, so I'll probably give you some human-to-human footage then. The game looks nowhere close to the quality of the previous footage shown, but as expected as the stuff we saw earlier obviously wasn't realtime. But the game looks absolutley solid, especially the textures on your hands and wrists, super-sharp textures right there, but weapons can lack the texture quality and general finishedness, but as said, still looks solid. The most interesting addition to the game is the Impact Hammer, it just has such a fantastic feel to it when you pump it up and just get close and splash those bastards right up theirs. Music could have been better, right now the music is just there but you'd probably not even think of it that much - needs some work there along with the weapon models and quality of those. I was running highest settings (16xAF, all that stuff) but without the Anti-Aliasing, while recording I hit a average 37FPS which isn't too much of a decrease over the original 42FPS - performance is still kind <b>...</b>

This is some Gameplay footage of the really cool single player UTIII mod called The Ball. As you can see, it's a puzzle game. It would be in the same classification as say Portal. Not that it plays anything like Portal, but in the way that it's a well designed addictive first person puzzle game. In tha game you used a modified version of the Unreal Tournament Hammer weapon, to push or pull a giant ball through the levels. This one is really fun, and is overlooked because it is just a mod, and not a retail game. This is a vid of a deathmatch round in the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament. My aim was way off on account of the fact that I'm rusty with mouse aim, and that the sensitivity was a little bit higher than I'm used to. I don't do that good this round, but that's really not the point. The point is, this is a fast furious, and fun online game that needs to be played by more PS3 owners. Use it as one you use to blow off some steam. One you don't have to worry about ranking, perks, or your kill-death ratio. Use it as the fun game you use to unwind from the typical BS that comes with online gaming. It's got a ton of different modes (Including coop), and it's fun just to get on and kill some s***. No campers, no rude little kids (that I've run into so far), and with the more balanced play, you can't even call any particular weapon a noob-tube, because they're all deadly in the right hands. In fact, this game is extremely enjoyable to play even if you're like me, and you suck at it. If you get tired of CoD, give UTIII a try. It's just the straight up balls-out fast furious, fun multiplayer game.
