That being said, Vagabond is an amazing manga series that I recently discovered that chronicles the early life of Musashi Miyamoto(Takezo Shinmen) one of Japan's greatest swordsman. The art is spectacular (especially the line work and watercolors) and the story is gritty, yet intriguing. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down! (A little warning, this is a VERY GRAPHIC series, so if you can't handle violence and gore don't read it) For this slideshow, I used the first three volumes of the Vagabond manga!
