I went into labor at 3 in the morning the night after my due date. I labored very hard for 30 hours at home, hoping to have a HBAC in the water with my husband, best friend/doula, my midwife and her assistant, but baby was in the wrong position and I became exhausted. So we transferred to the hospital and I had ac section. It was still an empowering experience and I would do it all over again!

This is my story of my VBA2C. After 2 elective CS I decided I did not want another CS and I needed to experience a vaginal birth.
I had to do an informative speech for my communications class. Since I dealt with a lot of people who knew little to nothing about the safety of VBAC's and felt it was their place to tell me how stupid they thought I was being and how unsafe it was, I decided to do my speech on VBACs and how safe they really are. I know that I'm awful at speeches. You don't have to tell me. Hopefullly in between my stammering, stuttering and pausing, you get the clear picture of what I was trying to convey. Be gentle. Speeches are not my strong point!
